@scottmelker @Negentropic_ Astonishing analysis, to the level any single trader could tell you, from a company with vested interest in higher prices to sell it's own products.

@coinbureau Wow. A crypto company trying to shill crypto and generate a new narrative to boost it's only business? Who would have expected that???

@ValaAfshar @jam_croissant What a stupid quote. Even the strongest man will be offended if you insult his family. A weak man probably won't. And anyone that thinks they know what "Truth" even is, is already weak.

My own personal opinion The U.S. govt should engineer a sharp price decline, forcing Saylor into liquidation Then the U.S. govt can stock up on BTC to back up the $USD as a reserve currency I think driving price to $30k would do the trick

@coinbureau highlighting rising institutional interest in Ethereum. - so your getting AI to write your posts now are you? What a stupid comment. We know bitmine has a mandate, it's more bearish than institutional interest. You guys, honestly!

Bitcoin has retested February highs just below 80K and is now consolidating slightly below this level. Here’s what BTC options data shows on positioning, volatility expectations, and sentiment beneath the surface.

@_Checkmatey_ @RyanSAdams @scottmelker @mikemcg0 Not entirely sure the data agrees with the fact it's not deflationary. But fair enough points. Market also doesn't think BTC is worth 100k, doesn't mean it we're not betting on it changing it's mind. Cheers.. and GG.

I disagree @scottmelker, ETH can hit $250k you're applying arguments against ETH that you don't apply to bitcoin, and that's exactly the point @mikemcg0 is making - be open to ETH as a SoV. if bitcoin can surpass the value of gold - then so can ETH. and the $250k outcome in the paper isn't a prediction, it's a statement of logic - if ETH is a civilizational store of value like gold, then the outcome is measured in the tens of trillions. no one saying it's easy, or immediate, or even assigning a probability to this outcome (that's for the market to decide). the paper just says - the menger money attributes are there, so be open minded to the possibility.

@_Checkmatey_ @RyanSAdams @scottmelker @mikemcg0 I wouldn't disagree, I also always thought what business wants to build a business on gas fees that eat away and unknown amount of their profit. Better to keep Eth price stable. But then, the other narrative might be ETH is a programmable BTC, burning more tokens than. It issues?

Bitcoin May Face a Lose-Lose vs. Beta Bitcoin's flat performance vs. the S&P 500 (SPX) since 2021, despite roughly 3x greater annual volatility, might augur an end to crypto's glory days. Or will Bitcoin catch up to the record-setting stock market? The graphic showing the Bitcoin/SPX ratio at about 11x on April 23 can quantify what the crypto needs to achieve to indicate its best performance days aren't over, staying above 14x, the 1Q24 high following the launch of US ETFs. That Bitcoin has been flat vs. beta for about five years, despite substantial gains in US money supply and stock-market cap-to-GDP stretching to 2.4x (the highest year-end level since 1928) can suggest the first-born crypto is succumbing to basic economic rules and an unlimited supply of competitors. I see about $75,000 as a key 2026 Bitcoin threshold to overcome, particularly if the US stock market is not setting records. @PeterLBrandt does the break above the previous resistance specifically identify this as a "V shape bottom" - I assume anything else could essentially morph into a downtrending pattern and therefore only the break gives us the positive bullish outlook.

V-extended bottoms are very rare, but they do occur. In fact, this is the second "V"-extended bottom in the NASDAQ in the past year. Now, that is rare. It portends higher prices with an initial target of 29,600 $NQ_F
