Some of yall really so pressed you can’t stop exaggerating or lying about shit. Folks give credit to black Americans for their contributions and sacrifices but that’s never enough. Enslaved Blacks picked cotton that was ~5-6% of US GDP and ~12% of population share in 1860—not “filthy rich” free labor that built the country. The North’s factories, railroads, cities, finance, and industry were built by free white labor and European immigrants. Slavery was a Southern plantation racket that ended in 1865; US growth exploded afterward without it. Barkley said immigrants built this country, this is factually true for most of America’s infrastructure and economy. Cotton quotas and whips don’t equal inventing the Constitution, steel mills, or transcontinental rails. This “we built it on our backs” myth is pure overplay. Slavery was evil and real. It didn’t construct the United States.

For two straight years, Democratic officials, White House staffers, and media figures went on camera and said Joe Biden had a photographic memory, limitless energy, and zero signs of cognitive decline. These are the actual quotes: “He works us all under the table.” “I can’t even keep up with him.” “I never, ever, ever felt like I saw anything that was decline.” These weren’t random supporters. These were people who rode Air Force One with him. People who walked into the Oval Office and sat across the desk. Not one of them expressed a single concern on camera. Then came the debate. Within days, the same party that spent two years calling him the most accomplished president of their lifetime removed him from the ticket. Not one person who said those things has been asked publicly to explain the difference between what they told America and what they knew. Nobody has answered that question yet.

People in Africa work harder than almost anyone. They are not lazy. They carry water for miles and work in the sun all day.  But if the rules make it impossible to build a factory or buy a tractor, they will always stay poor.

The majority of Blk folk are in poverty in cities with Black Mayors.

I hear people say we should “handle business” like our white counterparts. In Louisiana, those counterparts voted at 72% in the last presidential election. We voted at 57%. Meanwhile, they are actively engaging elected officials to remove policies that benefit you. One way to fight back is simple: show up. Voting doesn’t fix everything, but it’s your damn money. You deserve a say in how it’s spent — and you deserve to benefit from it. Right now, the other side is getting tax breaks. Their businesses are getting contracts and subsidies.
