@Web4Door @ChiefEngineerCE Lol @web4door You apparently haven't worked in tech where an Indian was hired as CIO. I've seen it at 5 companies in 25 years. I will NEVER hire an indian no matter how qualified.

IN PLAIN ENGLISH- Americans first. Foreign labor should be the last resort. Americans are raised to not discriminate with whom they hire, whom they buy from, or whom they associate with. For decades it was an amazing ethical success story. Anyone with talent and hard work could rise to the top... anyone. Then America imports folks from several societies who are culturally obligated to hire their own, buy from their own, shamelessly bribe -barter -or steal on behalf of their own while only associating with their own- doing otherwise would bring incredible shame to them and they know this with every fiber of their existence. They don't feel guilt for hiring their own, they feel guilt for NOT HIRING their own. The pattern is crystal clear its not just words. We act confused- why wouldn't they want the best? Why wouldn't they want diversity? THEY ONLY WANT THEIR OWN TO SUCCEED- It would be incredibly shameful to them to help an outsider succeed. Wrap your mind around this. Challenge it until you understand this. When a foreign manager or CEO is hired - expect only foreign workers to get opportunities as a result. Accept this. These are the rules. There are no exceptions.

@PatrickHeizer I don't see tax break there. I see a loan. I didn't realize that a loan was the same thing as a tax break.

asked dozens of times. where is this tax break?
Patrick Heizer@PatrickHeizer

@PeggiBosquez Seniors receive significant property tax breaks just about everywhere in the US. And their property taxes are increasing because they strangled new construction, inflating real estate values. A land value tax would spur new construction as land use productivity would increase.

@PatrickHeizer @PeggiBosquez Where is this significant property tax break at in Minnesota? I'm going to have to sell the house where I raised the kids and move to a cheaper on because of property taxes.

Y'all can hate me all you want, but I genuinely believe that property taxes should be much higher, with income taxes much lower. Reduce taxes on the working man's labor, not the landed gentry.
Grant Cardone@GrantCardone

🚨 DONALD TRUMP DEMANDS ‘NO MORE PROPERTY TAXES ACROSS THE UNITED STATES!’ You can’t hate this! President Trump launches national revolution to abolish property taxes which would result in the most powerful economic expansion in U.S. history.

one thing that pisses me off about trump is he will do final level evangelical stuff like attack the pope without having done the first level stuff like memorizing your favorite letter from apostle paul or carrying two folding chairs in each arm to impress youth group girls

I have to get this off my chest. Even in this economy $100K a year is still $100K a year. That’s roughly $7k a month hitting your account. If you’re still struggling at that income level the problem isn’t the economy. It’s the decisions being made with the money after it lands. Budgeting. Investing. Cutting the unnecessary. The income isn’t the issue. The habits are. 💯

@rushicrypto Many such cases. I started working on tech in 2010 and quickly learned that you must save because you never know when it will end. Too many people chase that bigger house or newer car.

A guy I used to work with hit me up last night. Dude was making $260k in tech. Nice house, $4,700/month mortgage, two cars, vacations every few months. Got laid off 7 months ago. Still nothing. Said he’s down to $22k and burning $5,500 a month. Wife at home, one kid. He told me he checks his bank app before he even gets out of bed now. This is someone I saw winning in real life. Save your money. Because when it flips, it flips fast.

Here’s a stat nobody wants to say out loud... If you’re laid off after 50, there’s a 1 in 4 chance you will never work again. Not retire. Not take a break. Never. 🧵

@PeterSchiff @GrantCardone this is happening to me. i'm going to retire and i'm going to have to sell my house, move, and find a cheaper one. 1/2 my taxes are due to my neighbors voting to raise taxes for the children's teen centers.

@GrantCardone The power to tax includes the power to destroy. If you have a right to own property, but the state can tax it, the state can destroy that right. If they raise the tax high enough, you are forced to sell it. Property taxes turn the right to own property into a privilege.

Why should anyone be forced to pay property taxes. The state doesn’t buy the house you did. You bought the home, improved it, put a mortgage on it and paid for it. The state collects sales taxes & business taxes to fund services. Imagine the 70 year old who owns a home today valued at $2M - they bought 30 years ago for $50,000, maintained the house for 30 years and finally paid the house off - Why should they or their heirs pay any tax much less on the increased value? They will say, “who’s going to support the roads, police, fire department and schools? Sales tax & local businesses can support those things. For those who support property taxes understand you open the door for the state to collect taxes on ALL property; boats, cars, clothes, art, bicycles, gym equipment, grills, tools, silverware, jet skis, stocks, retirement accounts - everything. 27 states reassess annually, and the rest, do so every 3 years OR lie California, any time you improve the property! It’s brutal and it’s endless! If you support property taxes on personal property you are either; a) a communist b) confused c) academic d) free loader End Property Taxes!

@nayibbukele I had a AI this week not have an hallucination, but not give the full context of a situation. it said like "you have 500 hours of downtime" when in reality 400 hours wasn't downtime, it was prep-time for a change, and 50 hours was a vendor told is something wrong and 0 downtime.

AI layoffs are a textbook collective action problem: Each company cuts workers to compete, but if everyone does it, demand collapses. You optimized costs and killed your own customers… and your company.
