My wife and I were talking the other day about potential career options for my 15 yrs old daughter who really struggles in school and is likely not college bound/material.
For guys it’s easy…
Don’t want to go to college, pick a trade or figure something else out such as a police officer, firefighter etc.
It’s not as easy for girls.
I think she would do well in sales since she is attractive, has the personality and is extremely social (spends hours everyday talking on the phone to all her friends).
For parents with daughters who aren’t on the college path…what are some real, high-income career options you’ve seen work?

@oliveegger They got me pumping in the recovery room due to poor latch and I was never able to break the cycle of empty breast/hungry babe often enough to get her back to breast. next baby I will not pump until I’m actually away from my baby/back at work!! You’re right!!

@thulelarper @Albertagarbage If you’re doing IVF, you both should be on a regimen. It’s expensive. Look into CNY if you’re paying out of pocket. Most people need multiple rounds.

True. The baby carrier is my single greatest tool as a mom of 3 kids 5 and under. Bc of this handy linen device I can get three square meals on the table while homeschooling a preschooler and kindergartener. I’d never survive without it and also my baby is extremely happy and chill bc she’s close to me all day.

thinking about how my grandma never wore any of her 8 babies and my mom never wore any of her 3 babies i can't imagine getting thru the first 6mo of infant care without wraps/carriers... if i had to choose a single baby product that'd be it. i think i'd choose it over diapers.

I’ve lived in SF for 30 years and my car has never once been broken into. I have never been assaulted by anyone on the street. Only had one break in ever and it was the fault of a contractor and they barely got in the front door before running away because people were inside.

Anyone got and good baby names?
If it's a boy, the initials have to be WAR to fit family tradition, and I think the W part is settled, but I'm not thrilled with any of the A names I've thought of.
Girl names are more open to the spirit of things.

@littlebillie Biddeford just got rid of theirs too. Tiny section of nursing and pumping bras. South Portland supposedly has their maternity section still. The biddo one was shit to begin with. I remember forever 21 had maternity! Now not even department stores.
