When you realize that ~2/3 of Canadians pay on average ~$1,035 per person, yet receive benefits materially above that (health care, social services etc.), you understand why many want the "free" stuff and are unwilling to accept change. At some point the system breaks.

🚨 BREAKING: CNRL DELIVERS $0.00045/SH NAV INCREASE THROUGH U-TURN LATERAL AT KAYBOB SOUTH. AEITB pinned on Kaybob South where CNRL using a pretty neat pad design to drill only 6 vertical sections instead of 7. Original pad design was 7 straight horizontal laterals in the Duvernay, with the amended license changing that to 6 wells, but the same amount of stimulated reservoir. First directional survey for the U-turn well is in, and it's beautiful. Assume they won't frac the turn nor the setback on the curved lateral. So it works out to the same amount of SRV but a good chunk of change saved on the vertical hole. Works out to $0.00045/sh. Don't spend it all in one place folks.

I am appalled by the brazen shooting outside of the U.S. Consulate in Toronto this morning. Violence of any kind will never be tolerated in Canada. Finally retired my 15-year-old Craftsman lawn mower. It served well with a lot of hard use.
I went electric and have to admit, I quite like it.
