Now it's time for Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna to sue the living hell out of Pam Bondi for her botched Epstein files release.

Pam Bondi still has to testify, under oath, in front of the Oversight Committee regarding the Epstein Files. This does not get her out of that bipartisan, lawful subpoena. We will see her soon.

DOOCY: I just got off the phone with President Trump. We have a big scoop. Pam Bondi will soon leave her job as the attorney general, she is going to get a different job within the administration. And in an interim role, she will be replaced by Todd Blanche

Theo Von asks why America fights for Israel. Joe Rogan says: donors. Lobbyists. Influence. Theo says: 'So that's just capitalism?' He's right. They have money. They buy politicians, wars and American blood. That's not a conspiracy. That's the system

I'm honored to be endorsed by @CWA7765. From fighting alongside @suntrappworkers on the picket line to the State Capitol fighting for labor and against Republicans, they know I will be a trusted ally in Congress. This country would be nothing without the working class, and it's time workers get their fair share. I can't wait to work closely with labor to enact an agenda in DC that lifts up workers rather than casting them aside.

Don't get it twisted. Pam Bondi must still come before the Oversight Committee as mandated by our subpoena. She must answer for her coverup of the Epstein files and weaponization of the DOJ. We owe it to survivors and to the public to hold her accountable.

Mockler: I'm so sick of the president of the United States spending valuable time attacking random celebrities. When Mueller died, he celebrated it. He's honestly morally inferior the way he celebrates these deaths. I'm a young dude who's always looking for moral clarity from our leadership Moynihan: Don't look to DC for moral clarity Mockler: I could have looked up to Obama and actually learned patience. I could have looked up to Obama and learned gratitude. If I look to Trump, I don't even know what I learn from that. Bully everyone around you. Isolate your allies, be an absolute asshole to anyone who interacts with you. What's the lesson that I'm supposed to take from this guy?

I get no joy from seeing another cabin secretary sent to the glue factory. Bondi‘s dismissal doesn’t change the fact that the Epstein files remain heavily rejected and pedophiles run free. We need principal leaders who will follow the law, release the files and prosecute offenders- not a reshuffling of the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Joe Rogan: “Iran’s a real enemy.” Theo Von: “Are they an enemy to America?” Joe Rogan: “Well, they’re the largest state sponsor of terrorism… They want a global caliphate. They’re radicals.” ❌ FACT CHECK: That’s false. Iran’s goals center on national sovereignty, and they have sought to project influence regionally through allied governments and forces (Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthi, Iraqi militias, etc.), what’s often called the “Axis of Resistance.” Their goals do not include establishing any kind of caliphate. A caliphate is a specifically Sunni political-theological concept rooted in succession to the Prophet Muhammad. Iran is Shia, and the ideological framework of the Islamic Republic – Khomeini’s velayat-e faqih (guardianship of the jurist) – is a distinctly Shia doctrine with no ambition to govern Sunni Muslims. Iran and Sunni jihadist movements like ISIS, which did pursue a caliphate, are actually adversaries. @joerogan | @TheoVon

I haven’t read a take this bad since Jamie used to blog about the Iraq war. But to be clear: Working to defeat any viable Dem nominee in a race against any Trump-era Republican is monumentally worse for Jews than anything any left-wing podcaster has done.

Since this tweet is now trending, let me add that when I say that it "is an unpopular view" - what I mean is that it is unpopular inside the media industry which prioritizes, hires for & rewards cheap punditry & has little interest in investing in the hard work of real reporting. It doesn't have to be this way - there are ways to build outlets that support robust journalism, and there are ways to do it that do not rely on corporate conglomerates. @LeverNews is but one example of a successful, reader-supported outlet that defies the trend and does real reporting. It's the kind of model that could be replicated and expanded. But both media industry decisionmakers and many rank-and-file folks working in media haven't been interested in trying to make those investments or do that work over the long haul, because it's hard and it takes a long time.
David Sirota@davidsirota

I get that this is an unpopular view but: We need more journalists & fewer pundits. We need more original reporting & fewer hot takes riffing off the news. We don't have this because reporting takes work and is difficult & pontificating on YouTube is lazy & easy.
