🚨 UPDATE—Iran approved the passage of Qatari LNG tanker Al Kharaitiyat through the Strait of Hormuz, according to Reuters sources. The shipment, carrying Qatari gas to Pakistan under a government-to-government deal, would mark the first successful Qatari LNG transit through the strait since the start of the Iran war. Sources say Pakistan — acting as a mediator in the conflict — has been in talks with Iran to secure limited LNG passage as it faces an urgent gas shortage.
