@lady_valor_07 Tell Mika to take her US Passport out of her Hermes passport case and go and vote.

@AntiLeftMemes Dear Useful Idiot, I have to show a drivers license to buy a lighter in Indiana. So showing a drivers license is just as important to buy a gun as it is to vote.

@sciencegirl Crime against humanity. You don't have to be poor to be tasteless.

@elibrooks0 If you live in Indiana or any state the issues Real ID drivers license that state has already taken care of the problem. Simply show your drivers license. Surprising no one, California's drivers licenses are not all Real ID. Those driver's license have a star.

@TravisShotIt @WTHRcom @GovBraun Property taxes can only be 2% of the value of the home. If you homestead it is 1%. Show the numbers to prove it went up 88% in one year.

How can my 75 year old mom’s property tax bill INCREASE more than 88% over last year? It’s a tiny house built in 1956 by my grandparent in a totally neglected Indianapolis neighborhood! Where’s the tax relief that was promised to senior homeowners last fall @GovBraun ?

@otokyo__ Welcome to Indiana. A Constitutional carry state. You only need a permit to carry a concealed weapon.

My doctor sent in a prescription for me to CVS, 30 pills, with 3 refills. Pharmacy calls me and says they only have 10 in stock, and offered me the 10 until they get more. I said sure. So, when my ten ran out, I called up to get the remaining 20, but they ended up only giving me 10 again, because that’s what they had given me before. That was considered my second refill. They did it again, so I ended up running out of refills in 30 days, not the 90 days the doctor called in. Had to go 2 months without my prescription, because there “was nothing we can do”. Even the doctor couldn’t get them to fix it.

@Mandy18857245 @JamesMelville Lebanese want Hezbollah bombed out and gone forever. They are invaders. The Lebanese Christians were hunting down Hezbollah and killing them.

@JamesMelville It's so obvious it's a land grab. Israel warns Lebanese to move out before they bomb their homes...So! Are they suggesting when they raise it to the ground that Hezbollah remained inside waiting to be blown up!
We are not fools

@Simon_Ingari I worked for a company that required salaried employees to install company emails and use company anti-virus software. It was considered a condition of employment. We also had to put our phone number as the mobile number on our business cards. No extra compensation.
English

HR Manager: The company is requesting that all employees have their work emails on their phones.
Employee: Cool, who should I bill?
HR Manager: Pardon me?
Employee : For the portion of my phone they will be using? Unless we're getting new phones — you know I wouldn't say no to an upgrade.
HR Manager: No compensation will be provided.
Employee : Why do they want our work emails on our phones?

@MauDelaGarzaG @CatholicVote It was announced last month he had declined the Trump's personal invitation because he had already planned to go to an island in the Mediterranean for the 4th of July.

@CatholicVote I guess the Pope is going to the US in July, since everything is dandy

U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See Brian Burch reveals that Cardinal Christophe Pierre confirmed the Pentagon did not threaten the Vatican:
"I was pleased to speak today with His Eminence, Cardinal Christophe Pierre. As expected, he confirmed that recent media characterizations of his meeting with Undersecretary Colby are 'fabrications' that were 'just invented.'
Given the intelligence and seriousness of Mr. Colby, I was likewise not suprised when His Eminence acknowledged there were no threats of any kind in the meeting. 'It was a frank and cordial meeting that took place two months ago.' Threat of Avignon? 'None.'"

English
@allenanalysis The Pope declined the 4th of July visit last month. Old news, he will be in the Mediterranean.
English

🚨 The Pentagon summoned the Pope’s ambassador to a closed-door meeting and threatened him.
Named official. On record.
Undersecretary of Defense Elbridge Colby called Cardinal Christophe Pierre to the Pentagon and delivered this message:
“The United States has the military power to do whatever it wants in the world. The Catholic Church had better take its side.”
Then a U.S. official invoked the Avignon Papacy — the 14th century moment when the French monarchy used military force to physically remove the Pope from Rome and bend the Church to its will.
The Vatican understood the reference immediately.
The Pope’s planned visit to America for the 250th anniversary celebration was cancelled.
And then something remarkable happened.
The Pope didn’t retreat. He pressed harder. He called the war unjust. He called Trump’s threats unacceptable. He told Americans to call Congress.

BREAKING: Catholics all over the world call for Pope Leo to excommunicate J.D. Vance after it was revealed that the Trump Pentagon threatened the Vatican with the U.S. military.
This is a fate worse than death for a devout Catholic...
"Catholics around the globe are calling for JD Vance’s excommunication from the Catholic Church after he suggested Donald Trump could use nuclear weapons against Iran," Catholic commentator Christopher Hale of the "Letters from Leo" Substack reported yesterday.
He shared a clip of Vance referring to "tools in our toolkit," seemingly alluding to Trump's threat to commit nuclear genocide against Iran, a horrific eventuality that was ultimately avoided by the tenuous ceasefire.
Those calls for excommunication were then supercharged today when The Free Press revealed that Cardinal Christophe Pierre was summoned to the Pentagon in his role as the Holy See's Ambassador to the United States. During that meeting, Trump officials then berated him over the pope's criticisms of Trump's brutish foreign policy.
At one point, a Trump official raised the specter of the Avignon Papacy, a period in the 14th century when the French King exploited his military to force the pope to live in Avignon. The term now serves as shorthand for direct state control over the Vatican. The implication seemed to be that Trump could exploit the U.S. military to intimidate Pope Leo into submission.
When asked about the outrageous threat by a reporter earlier today, Vance first claimed not to know who Cardinal Pierre was, then insisted that he was not aware of the story and thus could not comment on it.
Vance makes a great show of his adult conversion to Catholicism but displays none of the kindness, compassion, or charity that is supposed to define a follower of Christ. He's a black hole of cruelty, entitlement, and nihilism.
If Leo did excommunicate Vance, it would bar the vice president from receiving the sacraments, most notably the Eucharist, the communion that Catholics believe to be the literal body and blood of Christ. He would be, in essence, exiled and removed from the Catholic faith.
The canon laws governing excommunication are rigid and specific but two possible reasons are "schism" or attempting violence against the pope. If Vance endorses Trump's implicit threat to use the military against Leo either explicitly or through a failure to condemn it — that would likely qualify for both categories of violation.
As Hale further reported, the bishops who have "direct authority over Vance’s canonical status in the Catholic Church" are Cardinal Robert McElroy and Archbishop Robert Casey. Both are capable of beginning excommunication proceedings.
Ultimately, we of course defer to Pope Leo's judgement on this issue as he has proven himself to be one of the world's leading moral voices in these dark times.
If you were the pope, how would you handle J.D. Vance and MAGA?
Please ❤️ and share if you think that Vance is a fake Catholic!
