Maybe me but have we got ourselves into a position where Welfare recipients are better off than the people in Work ?? ... work fixes poverty not benefits. The U.S. welfare system is criticized for creating dependency by trapping recipients in poverty, as benefit reductions can outweigh income gains from working.
