Apple is not selling the 50 years anniversary swag that is an exclusive gift for Apple employees only.
This is what Apple Park Visitors center is selling as of today, no employees swag would be available for sale.

@AlSultan_Meriam They gave all the employees the 50th Anniversay t-shirt, but that doesn’t mean it was specifically employee swag. They had the white and black ones when I got there, and I think that employees only got white. They often have limited-time shirts, for example around WWDC.

@andybates It’s unusual to sell an employee’s swag there and they didn’t have them when I went there, it seems like it was a one day sale, I didn’t ask to be honest.

And when the Next Gen came out; there was tons of hate because it “wasn’t Star Trek” and the cast probably was in fear from the fans. Again when the series with Bakula came out, it too was panned by the fans because it “wasn’t Star Trek.”
Star Trek is different for everyone. 🤷🏼

@PachzenWeedbroh @straczynski The effects were completed in 4:3, so I believe they are streaming now in 4:3. Eps previously went out in 16:9 but that meant the effects were cropped. And there were a lot of effects!

100% false. That would mean shooting the entire episode twice, performances wouldn't match, we'd be shooting 14 day eps instead of 7, the budget would double...no. We shot 35mm wide, composed for 4:3 and protected for 16:9 for later use.

@straczynski Dear JMS, I was in a bookstore in Burbank years ago and I met a person who said they worked on Babylon 5. They said you had to shoot scenes twice, once for 4:3 and once for Widescreen. I always wondered if this was true?

The gas masks are cheap ones they buy off Amazon with their own money.
But the conservative influencers don’t actually do journalism, they just make things up for clout.

CHIRLA has been a problem for a while. They have been supplying the anti-ICE protests with gear, were funded by DHS grants under Biden, and the FBI began looking into them in 2025.
