It’s incredible to me that scholars who have lived through the collapse of academia over the last two decades can conclude it’s woke scholarship and not the politics of austerity and disinvestment that has ruled since the financial collapse of 2008.

You mean Amazon honors its contracts. The driver signs with a delivery company. The company contracts with Amazon. Both agreements are voluntary. Both can be ended. You call this exploitation. Adults call it commerce.
Now ask what Amazon built. Same-day delivery to every door. Books to every village. A marketplace that lifted millions of small sellers from obscurity. Cloud infrastructure that runs half the internet. Prices crushed across every category. Jobs for over a million people who applied.
You built none of it. You tax it. You regulate it. You accuse it.
The driver is not a serf. He is a man who made a deal. Your contempt for his judgment is the only disrespect in this story.
Workers deserve a mayor who does not call their contracts crimes.

Additionally, this is the inevitable end state for a non-rotating format like Commander. Eventually you reach critical mass in mechanics.

One sneaky problem Commander has right now is that as we get more and more redundant versions of popular abilities (play lands from the graveyard, etc.) decks feel less 100 card singleton and games play out the same way more often, which is sort of the opposite of the format's original goal and I'd argue hurts replayability.
Back when it was just Crucible of Worlds, sometimes your Gitrog deck wouldn't draw it and you'd have to piece things together with your other cards. Stuff like that doesn't happen much when you can play 10 Crucible of Worlds, even if they are all technically different cards.
