For anyone who used a computer between 1990 & 2005… what’s the one game you still think about?

@Tris10w @GamewithDave I made an entire graphics customization as a kid of this game where I basically made all enemies transparent except for one one pixel wide outline of their sprites. Made the game more fun and more difficult.

@GamewithDave In the early 90s. Wolfenstein 3D. And it's not even close.

@fileiddiz @GamewithDave Program called Joy2Key — enables PC game controllers to emulate the keyboard and mouse input from a controller. Used this to play the original Commander Keen series. :-)

@GamewithDave Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure. I need to figure out how to map a controller to it. It might not be so touch when you don't have to play it with keyboard arrow keys.

@RinoTheBouncer Mass Effect. There's such a vast universe full of different species that are already well known. I'm confident in that after all these years, they still have no idea what they're doing. They announced a new game only to then go "ok now what?"

I just had another 30+ year friend unfriend me. On line and in life. She said my “values” changed. They haven’t. I love all people. Black, white, gay, straight, Christian, atheist. I just simply point out hypocrisy in politics. Not to her. Just in general. So I’ve lost my friend and my godchildren. And my sons lost their friends as well. Because I voted for Trump and refuse to sit back and shut up.

@1GamewithDave1 Should never be more than 6 months, optimal is 3 months with a ramped up marketing of 2-3 weeks. Team Cherry notified Silksong was releasing in 14 days and they broke Steam from all the sales. Make a good product, alert people, and release… not overhype for years.
