The hills have echoed with Mantras.
A beautiful Shiv Puja and Gau Puja in the JMC Gaudhala in Nagrota, nestled amidst low lying hills. The atmosphere was divine and the program zero waste. Prasad was served in dona/pattal and cloth bags were used.
A young biker group One Ride One Nation was also in attendance.

I would like to bring to your kind notice the economic loss due to bad roads and the damage to the 𝟒𝐭𝐡 Bridge, resulting in ₹𝟮𝟯 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 of monthly loss to the people of Jammu.
On average, each household owning a vehicle is now spending ₹𝟭,𝟬𝟱𝟱 more per month on fuel due to the reduction in mileage from 𝟭𝟱 km/litre to 𝟭𝟭 km/litre.
For the city as a whole, with approximately 𝟮.𝟭𝟵 𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗵 vehicles, this translates into an additional ₹𝟮𝟯.𝟬𝟴 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗲 per month in fuel expenditure.
This comes at a time when the region is already under economic stress ,first from the Indo-Pak skirmish in May, then the floods of August–September, and a sharp fall in tourist inflow. The added fuel cost has become yet another setback for the local economy.
Assumptions:
a) Fuel cost taken at ₹𝟵𝟲.𝟳/litre
b) Taken 𝟳% as Jammu’s share of total vehicles in J&K and factored 𝟮𝟱% extra vehicles in Jammu owing to urbanisation.
c) Average mileage derived from the national average (diesel + petrol combined) and reduced milage basis feedback from car owners
Not taking into consideration man-hours wasted in traffic, wear and tear of vehicles, or the impact on the environment.

1500 families. 4 Jammu Districts. Flood Relief Aid.
The rains this year wreaked havoc in the Jammu region. Being there got to witness the devastation caused in Jammu city neighbourhoods. From what started as talking to those affected, receiving messages about the worse hit remote and hilly areas, and a prayer to be able to help those impacted lead to the coming together of good people, support of JMC for Jammu city areas, generosity of so many donors, Impact Guru Foundation, & Varun Beverages, mobilisation of Voice of Dogras and the able guidance and direction of Ajay Khajuria bhaiya , a measurable difference was made.
So thankful to have been a humble part of this with such amazing people🙏🏻

When Impact Guru Foundation and Varun Beverages first decided to distribute relief to 1,500 families across four flood-hit districts of Jammu, the challenge looked daunting almost impossible. Roads were broken, villages were cut off, and help had to reach the remotest corners from Janglote to Pancheri. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. What was once big task of responsibility was cut into smaller, executable missions. And each mission found its soldier. It’s stupidity to compare any demands raised from Jammu about recognition of its unique culture, history and place, separate from Kashmir, with things unfolding in Ladakh. Ladakh is very complicated and deep and any such false parallels are not only misleading but will also jeopardise Jammu raising its genuine issues and a desire to separate from Kashmir’s politics. Borders and national security is paramount, especially today.
Needed to put this out since just saw a handle on Insta inciting Jammuites by referring to Ladakh. Jammu will always reject senses violence and those who are trying to politically exploit the situation underestimate Jammu’s wisdom, sense of duty as a border region and nationalism.

More than 1.4 lakh hectares of agricultural land in Jammu province, across its 10 districts, have been damaged by recent floods and relentless rains as of September 2025, with losses running into hundreds of crores of rupees.
The Centre has allocated ₹209 crore to Jammu and Kashmir from the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) for immediate relief work.
But a specific, standalone relief package exclusively for Jammu’s agricultural losses has not been officially announced and is awaiting assessment.
