When Impact Guru Foundation and Varun Beverages first decided to distribute relief to 1,500 families across four flood-hit districts of Jammu, the challenge looked daunting almost impossible. Roads were broken, villages were cut off, and help had to reach the remotest corners from Janglote to Pancheri. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. What was once big task of responsibility was cut into smaller, executable missions. And each mission found its soldier. Together with the committed team of IGF, we carried hope on our shoulders and reached every door where despair lived. • In Samba, Dr. Parul and Shri Rishi Khajuria ji entered the villages with almost no roads with IGF’s Sumit and Firoz, knocking on every door, ensuring no family was left unseen. • In Billawar, Mohit ji stood tall, reaching the most vulnerable households when they needed us the most. • In Kathua, Sant Kumar Sharma ji, even amidst the whirlwind of his book launch and university talks, chose the cause of humanity first and led the drive with unmatched commitment. • For Aitham and Katal Batal, Ms. Divyani Rana lit the path activating sarpanchs and making sure distribution reaches the needy. • In Akhnoor, the civil society stood shoulder to shoulder with IGF Kunwar Shakti Singh ji, Mr. Abrol, CA Anshul walking into villages where the mighty Chenab had impacted lives. • And finally, at Aitham, as the last relief kits found their way into waiting hands, IGF and We Care volunteers supported by Arvind Khajuria ji gave this mission its dignified close. • And finally, at Aitham, as the last relief kits found their way into waiting hands, IGF and We Care volunteers supported by Arvind Khajuria ji gave this mission its dignified close.
