@CenterPoint Would be nice if you sent a notification BEFORE turning off the power for preventive maintenance. And by the way, your notifications suck, I'm getting emails that my power has both been restored and not yet restored.

@Ventuskycom @DWD_presse Isn't this how UFOs are explained away in every alien invasion B-movie?
English

Despite numerous reports of UFOs or Atlanteans launching from the ocean 👽🛸, yesterday's image of giant waves near Africa was due to a model error. Fortunately, our provider, the German Meteorological Institute @DWD_presse, has already resolved it, and the forecast is fine.

Ugh! @github is incredibly slow at the moment. Anyone seeing the same?

After many years of parking at the @theParkingSpot when traveling, I will need to change because they locked my account and ask me to call guest services, but there is no phone number for guest services listed. Life is too short to deal with this.
English

@Karlovich17 @HPSupport I assume this has been fixed. Please let me know if you are still seeing the issue.
English

@HPSupport I just opened a ticket 5102632273. It's not the device but it's more the source on the FTP server which is in error. I suppose a checksum error...
English

@HPSupport Hi support, we have an issue with the update sp144819. It's the latest from HPCMSL for EB 650 G8 (8AA9/897C) and we cannot update our models. Can you fix this please ?

English

@RepAdamSchiff @Geodesicz Yeah, because that 1st amendment is so problematic, let's grant Congress the power to determine what is reasonable.
English

hey @backcountry your warranty to support team has been ghosting me. Do they exist?
English

@Bu5yGiraffe @nkofahl @gwblok That looks like a supersede issue, I'll forward it. We are implementing additional checks for these type of issues, so hopefully it will get better when these checks roll into production.

@gwblok @SeguraOSD @nkofahl @txvalp @Geodesicz @theznerd Oh, and get the model names fixed as well so it doesn’t look like a bunch of drunk monkeys filled out that field. 🙈 At least that is one thing that Dell actually excels at (consistent model names and pulling BIOS versions after they have released them).

Hey Team, is their any place in WMI that indicates if an HP Machine is Enterprise class and would then work with HPIA?
Or, what would be the best way to determine if the HP Device is Enterprise? (If $Model -match "Elite") etc
English

@gwblok @ryandengstrom @nkofahl @Geodesicz @theznerd @miketerrill Another imperfect hack is to use the BIOS version, since Consumer products have a different version format (I believe F.xx or something like that).
English

@gwblok @ryandengstrom @nkofahl @Geodesicz @theznerd @miketerrill It is not comprehensive, you are missing a few product lines from workstations and desktops, I believe.
You could check if HP BIOS settings exists which would be a 80-90% shortcut, but doesn't give you all the information (e.g. does it support Windows 11, for example)
English

@theznerd @Geodesicz @gwblok @nkofahl @miketerrill From the CAB file, unfortunately. We'll be looking at making that easier in the future.
English

@Geodesicz @gwblok @nkofahl @theznerd @miketerrill Best way is to use the platform list XML file. This should have already scrubbed the platforms that are not supported. Guessing solely based on WMI data is not reliable for this use case.
