It's weird you can't sell your placenta but hospitals & labs can, to the pharmaceutical + biotech industry for big bucks... 1 placenta = $50k, global market = $4 billion in 2025. And they prefer C-section placentas so is it also weird that unecessary C-section rates continue to climb?

This isn't a dig at Buium, but 5 months ago Lane Hutson signed a an 8 x $8.85M extension after scoring 66 points in 82 games. Buium currently has 23 points. What is the justification for handing Buium that same contract? #Canucks

MLSE picked Brendan Shanahan over Kyle Dubas when Kyle took his shot at the crown back in 2023. Now Shanahan and his hand-picked big boy GM have both been fired since. The Leafs completely bungled their window. What a debacle.

I’m not a Marner fan by any stretch of the imagination and never will be. But I *really* don’t think the solution to losing one 90+ point winger last year is to lose the other, more clutch, 90+ point winger in the next offseason. Unless you’re getting a *superstar* back.

@BizarreCurty @tddt_5115 The issue with moving Matthews is valuation. He is a great get for any team but without knowing for how long you get the player the valuation is difficult. Trading to get him for two seasons, first one coming off surgery isn’t ideal. Next summer with an extension is peak value.

@DrakeMT This is why the NHL needs to start doing what the UK does for football. Remove AHL affiliates and let them be their own teams. Increase roster sizes from the 23 to 30. Have 20 teams in the NHL and create a new league in between NHL and AHL. Would be far better to have relegation
