@CryptoTX86

Yes, I'm an asshole, but my responses are genuine and I treat people accordingly and honestly. Deplatform those who wish to deplatform others.

@kenyon_burnham_ @TrueSlazac I guess it’s a good thing that every other country gets the government they want and we’re just stuck with a government and benefits the wealthy few, Argentina and Israel. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Joemoth11098375 @tenyoush @OvereactingMark Not to mention they includes theoretical imaginary numbers. Meaning in reality they don't exist. The OP proving he posted shit without understanding it nor the factual scientific post he's trying to meme on. Once again proving it's not science, but ideology.

@tenyoush @OvereactingMark But the meme doesn’t really apply? Biologically is it more or less correct, gender doesn’t really factor into what was being said outside of a personal belief that really has nothing to do with science in the slightest

@SabaSmw @CasuallyGreg @emkenobi George Wallace, Robert Byrd, John Stennis, David Duke, all noted Democrat racists after 1964. For a party switch, doesn't seem like it was very effective. Biden and Hilary both made highly racial statements on record. "...Super predators..."

@RepShriThanedar You’re calling out cherry-picking while doing the same thing. ‘When he left office’ vs ‘today’ is just another selective endpoint. Pick a consistent range or it’s all spin. As always, you're still weasel.

Gas prices when Biden left office: $3.12/gallon Gas prices today under Trump: $4.10 MAGA wants to cherry-pick a specific point in time when gas peaked due to the Ukraine War. The difference is that Biden didn’t attack Ukraine but Trump DID attack Iran.
John Gilbert@MyLiberalPony

@RepShriThanedar Gas is still lower then when Joe Biden was your president. ::Insert Democrat excuse here::

@dhe3g You have just made the dumbest, most bullshit bias statement on twitter right now. Not only did you go full retard, they added you in the dictionary next to the word. Everyone is dumber for reading what you wrote.

@micah_erfan ...if your idea of effective governance is how many bills they can sign per day, then yeah. But that sounds more reckless than efficient. Signing a bill on your desk without scrutinizing it. She wouldn't have any time at that rate for proper due diligence.

@DerekPederson3 @IverTheGreat22 @fakechuck That’s how you get tyranny of the majority. Dense population centers dominate while less populated regions get sidelined. The EC exists to balance that so smaller voices aren’t ignored.

@DerekPederson3 @IverTheGreat22 @fakechuck Median voter theorem assumes a uniform electorate that doesn’t exist. Turnout and voters aren’t evenly distributed. A pure popular vote would push campaigns to dense population centers and sideline less populated regions. That’s why we balance population with state influence

The arguments for the Electoral College are all basically terrible and its original purpose (so that elites could block the masses from electing a populist demagogue) is clearly a failure.
James Surowiecki@JamesSurowiecki

There's no good civic argument for the electoral college. It was arguably necessary to ensure the ratification of the Constitution, but it's an anti-democratic device that gives some American citizens far more voting power than others, based purely on where they live.

Smart political move. Takes it to the Rs. Everyone is seeing Trump fall apart in real time. Make his party vote, or at least refuse to vote on this measure, and keep the issue live for the election. Hungary seems to be inspiring people here too.
Andrew Solender@AndrewSolender

NEW: Raskin, w/ 50 House Dem co-sponsors, formally introduces a bill which would create a commission to assess Trump's fitness for office under the 25th Amendment. Bill text here: documentcloud.org/documents/2804… Story TK

@JamesSurowiecki Except, you know, the civic arguments from the founding fathers. They chose a constitutional Republic intentionally. There's a reason people warn about "tyranny of the majority". The electoral college functions in part as a balance between the states and the people.

People defend the Electoral College because it balances two things: the will of the people and the role of the states. It’s not just tradition; it’s a compromise to prevent population centers from having total control. Which is why we are not a direct democracy.
Carl@HistoryBoomer

People defend the Electoral College for the same reason they defend pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving: tradition. But tradition is no reason to keep two things that are bad for America.

@Bestboy_Rhys @xQc @pokimanelol Them being hurt and upset is reasonable. Still does not take away from the fact they still had agency in the situation. They could have said no at any time. They could have chosen not to go across the country and meet up under dubious circumstances. To your question; irrelevant.

@CryptoTX86 @xQc @pokimanelol they are not responsible for the fact that the person they thought they were building something with was in a relationship. They have every right to be upset and hurt. How would you feel if you found out your gf lived with a man and was just using you for attention?

@JCStew1313 @HomeChef_NC @JoyceWhiteVance I 100% can. If they truly have integrity, then next time they hold office, they need to bring up the bill. Not only will it be easier to pass but I'll be less skeptical of their motives.
