🚨 UPDATE—Iran approved the passage of Qatari LNG tanker Al Kharaitiyat through the Strait of Hormuz, according to Reuters sources. The shipment, carrying Qatari gas to Pakistan under a government-to-government deal, would mark the first successful Qatari LNG transit through the strait since the start of the Iran war. Sources say Pakistan — acting as a mediator in the conflict — has been in talks with Iran to secure limited LNG passage as it faces an urgent gas shortage. Iran reportedly approved the shipment to help build confidence with both Qatar and Pakistan. It only works if Pakistan requests it..
