@byesline We actually already did this hypothetical. Shaq Thompson played a season in the GCL (which is the lowest level of domestic affiliated baseball). The results were… historic. 0 hits and 37Ks. A fun question is if they could score a run in a season. baseball-reference.com/register/playe…

These dudes are all class world athletes. Not saying they’re as good as baseball players, but they’re not just regular joes & I’m fairly confident that a handful of them got baseball background.

@VandyAll The last year Vandy made the tournament was 2017. It was their 2nd straight appearance. That same season Nebraska was posting their 3rd straight losing record. Nebraska still had ~6k more fans per game than Vandy and were 11th in the country.
