@OnlyInBOS On my way to vote, I went right past the Lexington battle green where the first blood was shed in 1775. They went to war and sacrificed everything so we could vote and determine our own destiny. That hit me hard on my way to vote this morning. For all our flaws, we're damn lucky.

@clharrington024 We made a deal with my daughter that every time she finished one of the books we would watch the associated movie. We had several fun family movie nights but in the end she loved the books more. The Harry Potter series is what gave her a love of reading. Those stories are magical

My 6th grade daughter is reading Harry Potter, she finished the 6th book very late the other night so I was already asleep. I awoke to a post it on the kitchen counter: “Mom, Dumbledore died! I’m so sad. Love, Charlotte” This small note made my heart explode. Reading great books is magical and moving and heartbreaking. Thanks @jk_rowling for writing this world for kids to love and live in. Parents, too many kids today haven’t read all the Harry Potter books. Start reading this series with them. I promise it will be one of your most cherished memories.

@reesetheone1 If you grew up with the karate kid - I highly recommend. It gets a little fund / teen drama in the later seasons but the first season is fantastic. Johnny Lawrence stuck in the 80s but living in modern times. It’s worth a binge. Lots of great 80s references
