CEO of Shopify @tobi is shipping more code than ever. 2024: 94 commits 2025: 833 commits 2026: 957 commits (in first 45 days of the year) Claude is turning CEOs back to builder mode.

Elon Musk thinks coding dies this year. Not evolves. Dies. By December, AI wonโt need programming languages. It generates machine code directly. Binary optimized beyond anything human logic could produce. No translation. No compilation. Just pure execution. Musk: โYou donโt even bother doing coding.โ Code was never the point. It was friction. A tax we paid because machines didnโt speak human. AI just learned fluent human. The tax is gone. Now plug that into Neuralink. No syntax. No keyboard. No screen. Musk: โImagination-to-software.โ Thought becomes executable. You imagine an outcome, the system architects and compiles it into reality instantly. Weโre not automating programming. Weโre erasing it from existence. The entire profession collapses into a thought. Decades of training reduced to irrelevance. The gap between idea and instantiation hits zero. You donโt build anymore. You imagine, and it materializes. Not incremental progress. Total phase shift. The way humans have created things for ten thousand years just became obsolete. Welcome to a world where the limiting factor isnโt skill, resources, or time. Itโs whether you can picture what you want clearly enough for a machine to birth it into existence.

people think rust is a low level programming language

New Engineering blog: We tasked Opus 4.6 using agent teams to build a C compiler. Then we (mostly) walked away. Two weeks later, it worked on the Linux kernel. Here's what it taught us about the future of autonomous software development. Read more: anthropic.com/engineering/buโฆ

@vxunderground VPNs being marketed as a security product is legitimately one of the greatest downfalls of the internet age. Maybe like 15+ years ago when HTTPS wasnโt as widely used or when SSL was the encryption but in this age of HTTP over TLS itโs largely unnecessary

I canโt fathom why so many Software Engineers are afraid of recursion. Itโs literally just a single โjmpโ assembly instruction.

Hey guys, just got back to Gaming after a brief break. .. wait, why is there a nepo baby doubling down over there?
