@iamKizzy_Jay Instead of saying " years ago you served my father in the Clone Wars" she would have said "years ago you saved me from Flea". The whole show definitely caused some rifts... And it played out like fanfiction written haphazardly.

Ive been seeing a lot of hate over the mandalorian and grogu movie.
Ill be honest, its performative. Its easy to dunk on star wars so its an easy sell for views.
Problem is that the movie is actually good tho. Its star wars, its fun and its rewarding for watching the TV show.

@iamKizzy_Jay Let's be honest, the Leia in Obi-Wan felt like somebody who didn't understand the franchise wrote the script. Especially when you watch episode 4 and realize she seems to barely know who Obi-Wan Kenobi is.

@iamKizzy_Jay It's literally the first storyline they did. The movie that was in theaters back in 2007.... It had the same basic plot except Rotta was like 3 years old instead of in his twenties or whatever age it is in Hut years.

@iamKizzy_Jay Yeah. But the story was a retread, which I thought was odd AF. They already did the "Rotta the Hut has been kidnapped!" storyline on Clone Wars.

@MaxRose91 This is fair. Granted, i kind of wanted a nice, self-contained, action packed story. Especially after the boring and cringe decisions being made for season 3.

@MaxRose91 @iamKizzy_Jay I haven't seen the movie yet, but I grew less interested in the TV show as it got mired in the "lore". It excelled as a "gun for hire" take on the Star Wars universe, and should have run for 20 seasons doing just that.

@starwarsfan2398 @DonaldGran82261 @StarWarsDaily_ I do and honestly other than Andor and Rogue One, I would go as far as to say the only saving grace for the Star Wars brand post-Disney takeover are some of the comics and the Jedi video game series. Everything else has been a waste of time.
