Question for @jrwhitehead in particular but happy to hear from others with legal expertise in religious matters: For those who understand & value Baptist polity + are interested in maintaining relationships at the local associational level & perhaps state level is it possible for a congregation to shield themselves from this decision by cutting ties with NAMB, formally stating the ending of the relationship, & yet continuing to work with other SBC affiliated groups?

This is absurd. I agree that we should re-read good books. My favorite or most “used” books for scholarship and teaching I’ve read over a dozen times. But why set the bar so low?
