Sin entered like a venom, quiet, deadly, and spreading through every part of our lives. But on the cross, Jesus didn’t avoid it, He absorbed it. Some things look strong on the outside but are already hollow within. The wicked may spread wide and rise quickly, but what is not rooted in God cannot remain. Time reveals what appearance tries to hide, what seems established can suddenly disappear. Stay rooted in the Lord, not impressed by what won’t last. “I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a native green tree. Yet he passed away, and behold, he was no more” (Psalm 37:35–36).

When it looks like evil is winning, the temptation is to get worked up, discouraged, or even envious. But Scripture reminds us that what appears strong now is often short-lived. The righteous are not called to react, they are called to trust, wait, and stay in God’s way. In time, God makes the difference clear: some are cut off, and others are kept. “The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in the time of trouble” (Psalm 37:39).

Contrary to the “talking heads” who speak with such confidence but lack biblical intelligence, the Church didn’t replace Israel. The covenants aren’t fulfilled by the Church, they’re fulfilled when Christ returns to the earth. You can’t rewrite Scripture…but you can reveal you haven’t read it. There’s coming a day when Jesus will return—not symbolically, but physically—to establish His kingdom on the earth (Revelation 19). God made real covenants: • To Abraham — a land • To David — a throne • To OT & NT saints — a kingdom Those promises don’t disappear… they converge at the return of Jesus Christ. Don’t take my word for it. Open the Book. And like Tucker said at the end, “ummm, I mean it says it like on every page.” 😉
