This morning, I have one question — where is Trump's Budget Director Russell Vought? The architect of Project 2025 has gone completely missing in front of the Budget Committee, probably because he can't defend the administration's disastrous, unpopular economic record.

@RepSummerLee is an ineffective legislator that doesn't care about her constituents and does not do a good job of representing even Democrats in the 12th district. She is a radical socialist that spouts both racism and anti-semitism and spends way too much time with people that seem to hate our country. There is near zero attention to helping to bring jobs and drive prosperity for our region. That is why this November I encourage Republicans, Democrats and Independents to look at @JamesHayesforPA and decide which of the two of us aligns best with your values and will best deliver results for you, your neighbors and your family. LYNCH FOR U.S. SENATE: SOUTH CAROLINA SHOWDOWN @MarkLynchSC: "We got convinced into doing this, and it's a big race, and it's looking good. Lindsey's polling is down to 41% now and dropping fast, and so it's doable. We have a viable candidate now in me in South Carolina. That's gonna remove this flip-flopping traitor once and for all.” @ericbolling

Who dat? @RonAlting Indiana REPUBLICAN Senator Ron Alting, District 22 celebrating 🎉 at the Lafayette Gay Pride 🏳️🌈 event. He states in the video, he was the deciding vote on the city council, 23 years ago regarding sexual orientation legislation. “Inclusion Lives Here” is the T-shirt. Alting is virtue signaling. The Constitution protects all Americans, period. The divisions is real, the pandering is real. During this public reveal, everyone’s “true colors” are being exposed. Alting’s policies resonate with Democrats. There is an alternative candidate that more aligns with the Indiana constitution, Hoosier values and Republican Platform. @RBagsbyIndiana for Indiana District 22 Senate Fire @RonAlting during the primary. @MicahBeckwith @LGMicahBeckwith @GovBraun @braun4indiana @indgop @Trevor4indiana @INHouseGOP @INDems @RobMKendall @robert_kruse15 @TruthRenagade @lcgm1951

In Fairfax County, I undertook a non-scientific poll via Nextdoor, a social network that caters to more liberal views, and given the county's blue leaning, one might expect the results to favor Democrats in terms of redistricting; nonetheless, it still shows them losing.

Senate has adjourned at 4 pm for the day after Sens. Mike Lee (R-Utah), Rick Scott (R-Fla.) and David McCormick (R-Pa.) spoke on the floor on behalf of the SAVE America Act.

.@joekent16jan19 says he has no desire to run for public office again. He's promoting and planning nothing. His only desire is for the public to make clear to their leaders that they do not support this war to counteract fake polls from Fox News

Two other things I'd add to the analysis of this Talarico poll: 1. TX is not a state where polls tend to overestimate Dems. Beto didn't lead the polls in any of his races, IIRC. 2. That said, he's still nowhere near 50%. He needs to win a lot of these "reluctant Republicans."
