Really satisfying to watch these first generation adapted calves really starting to grow. The premise is to breed an adapted composite cow with high fertility and eating quality for the Pampas region of Argentina. Only taken 14 years to get to this point!

@freshy1973 @Awsumm1965 Multimin twice a yr also seleium chip in fert every yr .Unfortunately plants don't need seleium to grow . Also do bloodtests now and again to check seleium copper and B12 levels

AFR highlighting the need for productivity growth which is drastically low. Efficiency is gone out the window. I’ve got an idea about rural roads. Why don’t we get rid of all those traffic mgt clowns and go back to a 6x4 trailer with a traffic light. Sack the lot + fix more roads

@paradooprime All while they pay reduced council rates. Complain about the roads, and they claim they only use them once every 15-20 years (during harvest)

Nailed 2 x 120 kg plus Roo’s within 5 km of home and 1 km apart. Saw 45 in 3 ks on this road. Blue gum plantations on one side. 1 plantation harvested which has destroyed the bitumen Rd. No 💰 by company to fix Rd so us farmers that live and work here just have to suck it up. 🤨

@__Bateman__ Something I need to do is weigh at vaccinating pre lamb. Their CS 3.5 so if they can maintain that with foetal gain I’d reckon 60 kg. The bigger the better in my experience in tw/ single and trips. The greater % of adult weight the better the carryover repro as a rising 2yo

Joined in feedlot. Start weight 47 at teasing(14 days) and then 30 day join. 54kg end of join

We have fed all stock for 6 months. We are stocked for an average season. Start been worst in my career on Island. We expect to feed some stock for 4 more weeks. Do we quit some stock now or hold tight and hope for good spring rainfall? Est track 500kg below @Agrista_au 2021 data
