@virginmedia what an absolute s***show you run. Can't link my O2 account, spent an hour of my life I won't get back to "sort" it. Told to use a different email in 30 mins. Done that - still won't work. Operator said he'd ring me after 30 mins to check it had worked..and hasn't 😡

Don't ever forget your stuff when staying @premierinn. There seems to be no audit trail of stuff handed in/nobody can say what happens to unclaimed items or where stuff handed in ends up 🤔. Even sending my query further up the management chain illicits no response,shocking

Ok let’s talk about desensitisation…👀 I don’t know how many sudden deaths I’ve been to. I can’t tell you how many dead bodies I’ve seen. That’s not a normal thing to say is it? (⚠️ Health warning for the rest of this post. ⚠️) But that’s my job. As a Response Cop and now Sergeant, we deal with sudden deaths and murders, daily. Why? To ensure there’s no foul play and conduct an initial investigation incase there may have been. Last year one of my good friends (a fellow Sergeant) and I went to a “One Under” on the Underground. I’ve been to quite a few, he hadn’t. Seeing a human body cut in two by a train isn’t something that leaves you quickly. My friend was rather shaken by it, understandably, we left to get some fresh air and talked about how bizarre our job is. The next call we attended was a noise complaint in a well to-do part of town. Having to be calm and rational at the next call when you’ve see what you’ve seen isn’t easy. That revellers don’t know you’ve just seen something they can’t comprehend, but you have to enforce the law. Behave rationally. It’s truly not an easy thing to do. Then, you finish your shift, go home, see your family and stare into the middle distance, trying be you. I won’t describe what a human body looks like after it’s hit the ground having jumped from a tower block, because you really don’t want to know, but it's been imprinted on my brain at least a dozen times. I’d argue we’re some of the most messed up people you’ll ever meet. Yet we’re also expected to work #PublicOrder most weekends, be rational, calm and deal with the frustrations of society. This job isn’t challenging, it’s pretty impossible. So that’s why I back Cops, that’s why I stand up for them and say it like it is. #ThinBlueLine 🚨

@British_Airways have you stopped us being able to check the status of our claim via the chatbot system?I've just tried- it says it doesn't understand -I had been able to check up until yday. I intend contacting your CEO regarding poor service (though I expect he's well aware!)

@SimonCalder Do you know anything about the issues with trying to get compensation for cancelled flights from @British_Airways?Seems I might have to wait months for recompense incl the taxi fare from Gatwick to Heathrow as that was the only flight avail.Are all airlines the same?

@British_Airways can anyone please tell me what is going on within British Airways? So many canc/delayed flights (incl our DAL to LHR on 16/9). Very little stock on board on rebooked flight- not even offered a hot drink on a 4hr flight! Very worrying - are BA on the way under?

I'm heartbroken to share the news that we lost our beautiful Laura in the early hours of this morning. She was fierce & tenacious to the end & it was truly the honour of my life to be her mum. We are devastated at the thought of life without our girl, she was a force of nature💔
