Yesterday, graphics on illegal immigration into the country went viral. So we built one for legal immigration. 6.9M Department of Labor LCA filings, required by law before H-1B petitions are filed. 11 years. Every red dot is a filing for an Indian to be hired instead of you.

@MatrixMysteries Lol. That is the whole point of Social Security. The government expects you to pay into it without receiving it when you retire.

A daughter loses both parents and checks their Social Security. They paid in for DECADES — nearly $1,000,000 combined. Her dad died before seeing a DIME. Her mom received a few short years of checks. They paid their whole lives. A lifetime of deposits for almost NOTHING back.

He didn’t answer the question. Folks who are on H1B for several years and paid taxes deserve to get green cards at some point. It currently takes a minimum of 15 years for most people who are in tech/skilled job categories, and a lot more in other categories. If you lose your job while on H1B (which is happening a lot these days in the tech sector), you only have 60 days after your last working day to get a job with some other company who’s willing to pay the “transfer fee” of around $10K, or leave the US and go back to your home country. Imagine if this happens after you and your family have put down roots for several years! And every such person you send back is one less taxpayer who helps pay for the rest of us who collect social security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Girl: My Indian parents are on #H1B, it would take 150 years to get a Green Card. @JDVance: My Indian in-laws have never once said you should do something for my country (India). Interesting conversation. 👇 #H1B #H1BVisa

Busting H1B has gone mainstream thanks to the grass roots crowd that built their following on reporting this. Here Blazemedia calls out an H1B who admits he's breaking the law. Working a food truck. Remember way back a year ago when folks denied this stuff was taking place? No way to get around the fact that he is taking a job from an American. Sent to my DM - feel free to drop the actual X link.

6 months ago, Senators Grassley & Durbin sent letters to Amazon, Meta, Google, Microsoft, Apple & 6 other massive H-1B users. These companies laid off tens of thousands of Americans… while getting approved for thousands more H-1B visas. Congress finally asked for receipts. What happened next?

Mayor Mamdani is right. Families in New York City deserve free child care. But it’s not just New York. Instead of giving tax breaks to billionaires, Congress must pass a universal child care bill to guarantee high-quality child care for every American family.

@BenZeisloft Even if the data is a lie, they can just force women to give birth. In 30 years, South Korean will be no more but angry feminists with cats. North Korean could just send army and take over

North Korea’s birth rate: 1.8 children per woman South Korea’s birth rate: 0.8 children per woman In other words, feminism is more destructive to a culture than dictatorial communism.

This is incredibly generous. TSA agents across the country are relying on food pantries and community donations just to get by. I remain the lone Dem to vote with my Republican colleagues to fully fund DHS and get people paid. It should never come to this point.

I would like to offer to pay the salaries of TSA personnel during this funding impasse that is negatively affecting the lives of so many Americans at airports throughout the country

Question: I'm a waiter at a local restaurant in Queens, a full time college student who sleeps an average of four hours a night and is still thousands in debt. How is a war in a country half the world away funded by the taxes pulled from my check, helping me in any way?

My neighbour’s wife found a cond0m in her husband’s pocket this morning. “Babeeeee, what is this cond0m doing in your pocket? You’re chèating on me now…” Then the husband shouted back; “What do you want me to do? It’s been 8 months. You keep saying your body hasn’t healed. Are you the only woman who has given b1rth? I begged you. I complained. I waited 4 months after delivery before even bringing it up…” “ Yes. I’m cheàting.” The way the woman screamed en, I thought our roof would collapse.

I will lead Senate Democrats in blocking the SAVE Act this week no matter what it takes. Why? The SAVE Act: 1. Prevents millions of American citizens from voting by requiring birth certificate or passport to vote 2. Decimates vote-by-mail 3. Forces Americans to register to vote in person 4. Let’s Trump purge whomever he wants from the voter rolls

Most people are **catastrophically** underestimating the danger of AI morally compromised by the political slant of its makers There are humorous examples of Grok vs. {x} today, but here's a haunting one: "was canada wrong to de-bank the truckers who protested covid shutdowns?" Look at the way Grok vs. Claude answers. Now extrapolate this 5 years into the future. Today, it's a chatbot. 5 years from now if not sooner, it's the control layer for every transaction, educational platform, news article, corporation, and government. It's so pervasive that its influence is impossible to parse from human output. Imagine a world where Claude's answer on truckers was applied to any other category of political protest found to be "objectionable." Who decides what is objectionable? If we don't want to build a technocratic dystopian police state, then we have to address this problem now.

Grok 4.20 is BASED. The only AI that doesn’t equivocate when asked if America is on stolen land. The others are weak sauce.

If H-1B were a true replacement program that cut native tech jobs to the bone, then after 35 years of it being widely used in tech, we should see - Near-zero native-born tech workers But that’s not reality. According to the latest BLS data: Total computer and information technology employment in the U.S. is about 5.3 million workers. (source: Bureau of Labor Statistics, latest Occupational Employment Statistics) The number of H-1B holders in tech at any given time is roughly 600–800k (and not all of them are in tech — some are in other STEM roles). Math makes this clear: Tech workforce ≈ 5,300,000 Max H-1B in tech ≈ 750,000 H-1Bs as % of tech jobs ≈ ~14% If the program’s sole effect was replacing Americans with cheaper foreign labor, then over 35 years we would have seen native tech workers largely disappear. The fact that millions of Americans still occupy these jobs means the biggest dynamics driving employment are demand, innovation, and market growth. In short: 🟢 H-1B is a small slice of the overall workforce. 🟢 Tech jobs have grown, not shrunk, alongside H-1B use. 🟢 There’s no plausible scenario where a visa category this size “wiped out” native tech labor. That’s why the “H-1B replaced Americans” argument doesn’t hold up when you look at the actual numbers.
