@ns123abc First mover advantage is less important when your competitors can print money.

Google stays winning.
Sam is a complete loser. That he’s made it this far is a testament to how much back door (yes literally and figuratively) activity dominates (yes, again) the entire tech industry.
The market is trying to suppress valuations so the big boys can get back in but any narrative that the AI play is dead is completely wrong.
Margins are going to explode massively and continue to concentrate.
Good bye, Sam. May you finally face justice for Suchir and his family.

@ns123abc they just need to learn to do more with the compute they have.
English

@ns123abc Wait until they pay Elon $100B
It’s over
It’s so over

@ns123abc Google is wining. I think it's a neck and neck race to AGI between SpaceX and Google. That rocket tech, resources, and talent applied to xAI can beat Google. Honestly, would rather have Elon as the head of AI than the Google boyz.
English

I think if I was the ceo of open ai right now I would honestly open source which would get the lawsuit dropped from Elon. Apologize for any mistake and move forward otherwise it’s over. Codex used it today it’s not bad but a lot work needs to be done before it can compete with Claude. Also Altman needs to stop posting cringe I am excited for lawsuit posts.

@ns123abc google also has their own chip - bonkers to think how many levels they can pull
English

@ns123abc Yes, we broke down their supply chain a few months ago. Heres all the companies worth keeping an eye on

@ns123abc Frontier scaling is a capital war, but spend parity isn’t the win condition.
English

@ns123abc When a company shows you user numbers but hides revenue, you know exactly what that means.
English

@ns123abc Beautiful to watch… we always knew Google was just letting the dumb tool to be the blood hound
English

@ns123abc Really good point. How is OpenAI going to match $180B in AI capex
English

@ns123abc Google pairing with Apple was the key.
Scaling without crazy server builds requires a hybrid approach where mini models will be on the phone with tough questions going to the server.
OpenAI’s one way out of CAPEX hell has been blocked.
English

@ns123abc That compute is sold to apple, anthropic, and other cloud customers. Maybe even sold to openai at some point.
