Rashadul Islam,29, a Bangladeshi National in Australia on a bridging visa, has been refused bail for allegedly raping a 15 year old child.
The man, who lived with up to eight flatmates in a cramped western Sydney share house, kept the 15 year old girl captive for 4 weeks and allegedly raped her at least four times.
The 15 year old girl only regained her freedom after police found her running in bare feet down a street in Blacktown, Western Sydney with Rashadul Islam in hot pursuit.
The girl told police Islam had allegedly sexually assaulted her and kept her against her will for 4 weeks.
