@X @elonmusk You can't seriously call yourself a news platform while not offering a linear timeline. This is the same nonsensical algorithm that Facebook uses and it's been tried before by the old Twitter. Please fix!

Hi @jarwidmark, have you seen or heard of standalone MCC containers updating on their own? All of ours are on the fast ring and should have updated from 2.0.0.2112_e to 2.0.0.2119_e on Monday, but that didn't happen. The hostupdate script is running successfully via cron.

@everydayintech @SeguraOSD Looks great! I think I would like to incorporate BGInfo into my v2 ISO as well. Any chance you could share your .bgi file?

I just found out that I'm now behind CGNAT on my residential Telus Fibre Internet service. At first I was a little angry given the fact that Telus used to allow for two public IPv4 addresses, but now I see this as a net positive for the advancement of IPv6. Excellent move @Telus!

@RaymondBorn2 @SpaceX For optimal video quality on the big screen, I'm opting for a laptop and HDMI cable. It's a shame we can't get the cast feature from the app on Android. Good riddance to the XTV app. It was beyond buggy. Hopefully we'll see a reworked version in the future.

@never_released It's actually a fantastic idea. We need a sea-change of content being reachable by IPv6-only so that the average person (not just technical folks) can complain to their slow to adopt ISP citing broken URLs. Go for it and get on the list: ev6.net/v6sites.php

@Bell @Bell_Support Visiting family and still do not see IPv6 working on a Home Hub 3000 running Firmware version:3.4.13. This is on a cellular connection. Do you offer this Internet protocol for residential customers?

Also, if you or someone you know can code in Go and wants to contribute to an awesome open source project, DNSControl github.com/StackExchange/… could use your help. Support for MSDNS (Windows Server DNS) was dropped in the latest release since they couldn't find a new maintainer.

5. Monitoring DNS? Most teams don’t. → No alert on TTL issues → No visibility into NXDOMAIN spikes → No DNS query latency tracking Use tools like: • DNSControl • DNSimple • Catchpoint • External synthetic checks

@koodo I can confirm IPv6 works as expected, but only after creating a new APN with both "IPv4/IPv6" protocols selected. The sp.koodo.com APN from a brand new prepaid SIM (from Walmart) only has IPv4 by default. Please pass this feedback on to management. Thanks!

@0xB0 Hi Sam, it should work similarly to how it does on TELUS.

Hi @koodo, could you please comment on the current state of IPv6 on your network? I know Telus is the leader in Canada, but I have no idea about the flanker brands. Thanks!

@MyNameIsMurray If your focus is on gaming, than I would recommend checking out Bazzite bazzite.gg it's the most popular distro from the Universal Blue team.

I was going to wait to see where Steam OS eventually lands, but this distro with Steam installed might actually do the job for these PCs that can't (officially) upgrade from Windows 10. Because, yes, I'd rather change to a new OS than throw away these perfectly good PCs.

It blows my mind how good AnduinOS looks & runs. This is a new GNU Linux distro based on Ubuntu, that somewhat looks and feels like Windows 11, and is built in spare time by only 8 total contributors... yet in a year it's ticked off more than Windows 11 has over several years.

@koodo Thanks for the reply. On Telus, I can ping IPv4 addresses via 464XLAT / NAT64 (example: 64:FF9B::8.8.8.8). Is it possible to do the same on Koodo?

@0xB0 Koodo runs on TELUS infrastructure, including dual‑stack IPv4/IPv6, so your IP connection uses both protocols—no issues accessing IPv6 sites or services. However, Koodo doesn’t offer IPv6‑only connections; disabling IPv4 isn’t advised.

@xenappblog Thanks! For now, I've figured out why the "Install Premium Features" option was missing. That takes care of my immediate concern of upgrading certain users to Pro and the app is updated in the process.

If anyone has problematic Wi-Fi on a Dell laptop containing a Realtek 8822CE chipset and under warranty, please escalate this issue. There are now two bad drivers being promoted via Windows Update! wushowhide is a good workaround, but not when you have to use it twice.
Jason Berry@0xB0

@DellCares We're seeing a growing number of Latitude 3420/3520 with RTL8822CE chipsets in our fleet suddenly stop functioning (Event ID 5002). Started with driver version 2024.10.139.3_A15. Tested 2024.10.142.0_A10 from the Latitude 5520 catalog with no improvement. Are beta drivers avail?
