My thoughts on PENGU.. I'm kind of insanely bullish on it. I know this isn't a particularly wild take, since everyone is seemingly bullish on it. But I don't think we've seen a token like this before. I think it's significantly different to APE. I see PENGU as being the great unifying token. It brings together crypto ppl and normies. Pudgies are fast becoming a beloved household brand worldwide. They're the cute animal that your gf loves, that your kids love, that your parents send you a gif of on whatsapp or facebook and have no idea it's related to crypto. It brings together ETH ppl and SOL ppl. The NFTs on Ethereum and coin on Solana taps into both ecosystems. I have no doubt there are some people who have never interacted on Solana before that will be doing so for the first time because of PENGU. It brings together NFT ppl and "Crypto" ppl. Bored Apes were pretty infamously shunned by the majority of the "old school" CT crowd, and even a lot of the OG NFT crowd. Punks have long been considered the grail PFP NFT (and I still think they are), but for some reason, more and more crypto natives and crypto native companies have adopted a Pudgy PFP over a Punk. It even brings together VCs and Meme Coin Traders. They took in funding, but are staunchly community-first and seem to be doing everything to do right by their community. It is the ultimate comeback story, the pheonix rising from the ashes. It's not only a comeback story for the single collection, but it's kind of serving as a proof of concept for the entire PFP NFT / community project space. We've been laughed at for 2.5 years as number has gone down and ppl have left the space, but it seems like we might have the last laugh after all. APE came at the very tail end of a bull market, and kinda of signalled the end of the nft bull after the otherside mint. I think PENGU might signal the beginning of this next phase of the bull. Price wise? I really don't know. Is 5bn too much for a pudgy penguin token? Is 10bn too much for pepe? Is 50bn too much for doge? Is 2bn too much for a dog wif a hat? There's gonna be a stupid amount of volatility today -- I'm gonna be watching, claiming, and probably buying at the right prices. I'm willing to be wrong -- there are a lot of things that can go wrong and price could significantly underperform, but, every now and then comes along a coin you just find it impossible to be bearish on. With Abstract launching next month, the spotlight and attention is going to be on Penguins for a long while still. And if there's one thing we've learned over the last few years in this space, it's you don't fucking fade Luca Netz. Congrats to Luca and the Pudgy community, y'all deserve this so damn much, whatever happens. PFP changed for a day like today. I am my penguin and my penguin is me 🥳
