For complicated agent work, it's amazing how much GPT5.5 has improved. I found 5.2 to be very far behind Opus. Now using Opus 4.7 after 5.5 feels like a big step backwards. Gotta love this level of competion! Strong comeback for OpenAI.

This week, the company has been trying out all types of different AI tools including Devin, Mistral, Grok, Perplexity, Cerebras Public API, etc in addition to the typical Claude & ChatGPT/Codex tools. Most of them we will probably churn from very rapidly as it has negative value add, but one tool that has been shocking better than Claude is @AravSrinivas 's @perplexity_ai Computer enterprise slack integration. It has the ability to send images and send back detailed research reports & visualization directly in slack. We currently have over 96% of the token budget/KPI going towards Anthropic but based on usage patterns, some may shift towards Perplexity. I wish @_catwu would try out Perplexity's enterprise slack integration & add all the features to Claude slack integration too.

The phrase “made it known” (1:1b) ought to be rendered signified or symbolized (see HCSB, KJV), and the word signified alludes to Daniel 2. According to the LXX of Daniel 2:45, the word describes the symbolic vision that King Nebuchadnezzar saw: “the Great God has symbolized to the king what will come to pass in the latter days." In Revelation 1:1, John deliberately employs the language from Daniel 2:45 to demonstrate that the general content of Revelation is likewise symbolic. As a rule of thumb, then, the book of Revelation should be largely read and interpreted in a symbolic manner. See discussions in the commentaries of Beale, Schreiner, Osborne, Fanning, etc.

He’s reading the book of Revelation literally. Tell him Revelation 1:1 says to read it symbolically.

Despite all the hate Anthropic/Claude is getting since OpenAI’s Codex and gpt 5.5 has dropped, I am a very very very happy enterprise user/customer. Claude Enterprise is 👌 Thank you for serving us well, @AnthropicAI
