Why don’t they just tokenize the oil in the Middle East and transport it across permissionless financial rails, thereby avoiding the Strait of Hormuz altogether

On the Polymarket horizon, a potentially promising project called @parlettodotbet has appeared. Many of us really miss traditional parlays, where you can combine multiple events into a single bet - just like it used to be done in traditional sportsbooks. Parletto solves this problem. Here you can be a trader or act as a bookie (providing liquidity). When a trader wins a bet, the bookie loses money. But when the trader loses, the opposite side earns instead. The project has already received the Polymarket Developers badge. At the moment, it is being tested on the Arbitrum network, and according to rumors, it will launch on mainnet very soon - where each of you will be able to place your first parlay. I will leave the full project documentation in the comments under this post.

been seeing parlays come up a lot on the tl lately for those who don’t know: a parlay = combining multiple bets into one ticket. all legs have to hit for you to win, but the payouts scale fast. example: – btc > $120k by october (2x) – prediction markets become the highest mindshare on ct by october (3x) – a pred market hires a new ct influencer by october (5x) if each hit individually, you’d 2x, 3x, 5x. but parlayed? you’re looking at 30x+. that’s why sportsbooks thrive on them. they’re fun, juicy, and social. prediction markets with parlays unlock the same excitement, but onchain + global. this is one of the most requested features i keep seeing, and for good reason.
