The mainnet @pumpcade protocol begins audit this week. Our team has developed the most highly optimized protocol for short duration parimutuel prediction markets. - Binary & Multi Outcome markets - Congestion based strategy for late snipers - Automatic claims at resolution

AAVE, LayerZero and Kelp when it's time to describe how big their responsibility was:

LZ blaming Kelp. Kelp blaming LZ. Aave saying their hands are tied. In truth nobody escapes blame. Kelp should have required more DVNs, or rate limits, or both. LZ should have not let their DVN get pwned. Aave should not have onboarded a poorly secured token as collateral.

Incident statement from LayerZero is out. As expected, the attacker was likely DPRK. The DVN itself was not compromised as previously speculated, but rather TWO separate RPCs the DVN used to ingest state. On top of that, attackers DDOS'd the DVN's primary RPCs to force it to fail over to the two compromised ones. And the compromised RPCs served real state to anybody querying them, only serving malicious state to the DVNs. This enabled the attackers to bypass some of the other safeguards that were in place. Do NOT underestimate Lazarus. This attack was sophisticated as fuck, make no mistake. LZ DVN is back online and fully operational but I suspect there will be some serious introspection over the next weeks to months about further hardening security. Feel for everybody that was affected these last few days. Sometimes you just get outplayed, and DPRK outplayed the good guys once again here.

@Zodomo Just need to stick to the stables and native assets. Leave exotic assets out of collaterals and it should work fine

We can do better without needing to delay to T+1 settlement. We are better than tradfi.

The Aave situation is bad and getting worse. Multiple other pools are hitting 100% utilization, leaving lenders stuck and the protocol at risk of further bad debt. Lending rates have increased to 10-15%, a notable increase but still not an appropriate reward for the perceived risk of potentially backstopping a $300m hole. The market is demanding clarity - who will be saddled with the bad debt from rsETH? Once that it cleared up, I expect panic to subside. Trust in Aave and defi will remain lower than before, but it may be enough to get the machine churning again at a lower TVL. Lots of uncertainty right now with zero comms from LZ or Aave, and markets hate uncertainty.

Wish I had better news but looks like WETH on aave is fucked. Withdraw if you can but likely too late. After umbrella settles normal deposits should be partially withdrawable. A big hit to the DeFi vision
