Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to welcome @benjitaylor to 𝕏, our new design lead. I met Benji six years ago when I invested in his app: it was one of the most well-designed products I'd encountered. I knew right away he was on track to become one of the best designers in the world. After 6 months of convincing, we're finally teaming up and building the greatest design team in the industry.
Benji Taylor@benjitaylor

I’m honoured to be joining 𝕏 to lead design. I believe this is the most important platform in the world, and I can’t think of a more exciting place to help shape the future. I’m looking forward to working closely with @elonmusk, @nikitabier, and the rest of the team. I’m grateful for the opportunity, humbled to be part of it, and can't wait to get started!

Current trajectory: 1. Codex app launches on iOS 2. People start replacing apps with prompts and skills 3. Entire iOS app ecosystem collapses 4. OpenAI builds a new phone device with codex as the only app 5. Apple becomes hardware only company

the moment i started being delusionally optimistic was when my life actually started improving i was super depressed for a long time always psyopping myself out of things because "others did it better" or "waste of time" or "im not good enough" the moment i started applying myself to things and telling myself i'm awesome at doing things (even if lying to myself) my life trajectory increased tenfold delusionmaxxing is the meta

i'm joining @a16zcrypto to shape their social strategy. crypto is the most interesting technology being built today, but most of the world still just doesn't get it. telling that story well requires long-term thinking from long-term believers, and a16z is the place to do it. couldn't be more ready for this one.

app update: why is there no service that takes your existing app before it has been submitted to go on the app store does everything necessary to get it submitted and just slaps a guarantee on it id pay that instantly, been my longest step so far i built the app quicker than this lol
Musa@musamanzz

Update, product is basically done. I spent all day hooking up backend stuff like the database etc, optimising security and studying onboarding sequences. Had some issues with rork so moved over entirely to Claude code and fixed literally everything. Will be implementing paywalls to specific features then also implementing email verification shit. And after that, submit to the AppStore mate. Getting straight into the game on a big man ting.

An unfinished thought on this Meta-branding, meaning the branding of a technology or set of technologies (one layer of abstraction up) can also have this effect "Agent" vs software automation a recent salient example Scheduling code to run is not new but having an "agent work for you" is

A million+ agent orchestration system managed by another AI on behalf of a pm sounds clunky, slow and impossible to interrupt and course correct - so the opposite of a startup. AI version of 100 men vs 1 gorilla. The gorilla would smoke 20 before they finish picking the team name.

google likes a flat hierarchy where genius can come from anywhere, so I'm not sure + how does accountability work? is 1m agents to one person sustainable in understanding errors and finding solutions? not sure if an environment where a single person's mistake is compounded by 1m agents is one where anyone actually makes any decisions

In 10 years, there will be 20 people running the entirety of Google. Everything else will be done by the agents. Millions of them. And the agents will be smarter than those 20 people. The humans will be only a very small, very special part of the enormous automaton- they will anchor the companies relationship with other companies, bridge massive amounts of intuitive contexts that the models can't, and be the final decision makers when taste is all that remains in an equation. The people who Google still employs will be an extremely unusual collection of geniuses, almost superhuman, but human. The entire market for human software will be centered on a group of a couple thousand people controlling a few hundred companies. My question is what human software tools will support that talent and that scale of workload. What interface will they use to steer all of it?
