Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.

@doodlestein When you use /goal are you just having it work through beads? Would love to see a video of how you use your tools to manage these agents in your day to day work!

This is the AI agent equivalent of a chicken running around for a while with its head chopped off: all my GPT Pro accounts are already tapped out from usage limits until around 6pm EST today, but I still have 11 Codex /goal runs chugging along, totally oblivious to this fact.

I’ve had access to Codex2 and GPT 5.5 for about 2 weeks now OpenAI just collison-installed all of NVIDIA lol They set up a lab like a Genius Bar so everyone could get set up w Codex 2 With the CLIs we’ve been building, non-technical coworkers seemed to have the biggest unlock Our stack: • We rolled out cloud VMs for every employee. Simple rule, agents get their own computers just like employees. If something goes wrong we can freeze it and get a stack trace. • Codex team has been super responsive. Codex 2 now supports any cloud vm, quickly picks up ssh config. Non-technical users just paste a prompt we gave them to edit ssh config • Internally built CLIs + those vetted by security get automatically loaded in cloud VMs. Teams wake up to new capabilities daily now. NVIDIA already moved fast now we’re rippin 🤙

Armchair psychologists, what is Theo supposed to do here? He's clearly hurting and broken. He's been consistently depressed for so long, his emotional state is tied to the opinions of others, he changes his beliefs every other day, how does this guy heal?

@theo Claude Code has this issue all the way back with Opus 4. Some days it would feel like super intelligence and then other days it would feel like a Llama model. I switched to Codex right as 5.1 came out and never noticed any degradation in performance from then until now

Serious question. Has anyone ever noticed meaningful regressions in Codex/OpenAI models? I feel like we talk about this a lot w/ Anthropic but I've never seen a similar discussion with OAI.

I used to be worried about the competition catching up to my team. Due to AI, the speed of programming, development is going to increase, and put them asymptotically right by us. But instead, the gap is increasing. Our speed is increasing too. We're getting further ahead

i find myself using the “ask grok” button on the upper right of posts very frequently these days, especially since grok 4.20 feels a lot smarter than previous iterations it’s really helpful when something looks like fake news and i can quickly check if it’s been vetted anywhere
