A few key updates to SHARE Protocol for this month: 1. SHARE is now live on @base which is the cutting edge new blockchain from Coinbase, bringing a fresh, fast and popular new foundation to our entire protocol. 2. Automatic transaction batching means more people get paid faster. One issue we've repeatedly heard about is people joining splits and not getting paid soon enough because it takes too many transactions to circle through all stakeholders. This update optimizes things so that depending on the size of the payment, more than one person is paid out per transaction, while at the same time optimizing for low gas fees. 3. Beat packs and albums can now be sold with community splits. This was a feature requested by several producers. In the past, we never had a self-service way for someone to upload a pack that could be streamed and sold, downloaded as a ZIP file, and also have realtime community revenue sharing. This solves that. Today I'm excited to announce changes in our leadership structure at FORMLESS. Jason Martin (@jasondemart), my Co-Founder and former COO will be stepping into the role of CEO. 3 years ago I left Google with a vision of building a decentralized distribution protocol called SHARE to change the way creators and consumers benefit together in the digital economy. Jason has been with me since the very beginning. I still remember the first Mainnet conference we attended in New York when we became convinced that blockchain technology would underpin the future of the Internet. When I decided to establish FORMLESS as a company rather than just the idea of the protocol, Jason was the first person I called because I knew he would hold me accountable to the expectations I had for myself, and that's exactly what he's done. Pushing me along every step to uphold the vision, strive for more, and to do so with diligence and excellence. So far, over 30K people have used SHARE, 7K smart contracts have been created across 3 blockchains and we've signed deals with 3 major distribution businesses to utilize our now patented technology. We've distributed IP earnings via real-time revenue sharing and payments, and we're just getting started––most recently, we piloted the ability to fractionalize revenues from Apple Music and Spotify, bringing time-to-revenue down from 3 months to same day. Jason has been involved in every single leadership decision that's been made at FORMLESS and he's continued to exemplify our core values year over year with consistency. He also has an impeccable track record in revenue growth, which is the current focus and maturity phase of our company. I firmly believe that with Jason at the helm, we will achieve our goals for this year and beyond. I'm also thrilled to share that Bixia Mac (@0xbixia), Co-Founder and former CFO, will be stepping into the role of COO. Bixia's remit has consistently been expanding, progressively introducing AI into our development activities, working closely in servicing customers, and in general solving problems––which is the hallmark of being FORMLESS. Bixia is also a Co-Founder who exemplifies the core values of our company, and I know that our vision is in good hands. With this move, I will be serving as Founder, CTO and Chairman of the Board. This transition will allow me to focus more on public-facing activities that leverage my background as an Artist & Engineer, pushing the limits of the technology as well as using SHARE myself as a Creator. We believe that this aligns with our strategy and plays maximally to our respective strengths.
