I was always focused on the consumer side of crypto, even before the narrative made it popular. I knew that without real users and use cases, we’re just playing with the “cool stuff” we built. A few days ago, I stumbled upon an old unlisted YouTube video of mine, my final project from 2021 for the @Consensys Ethereum Developer Bootcamp. It’s 12 minutes long, and my presenting skills weren’t as good as now, but I still find it cool 🙂 I chose to build a PoC for an NFT e-commerce dApp as my graduation project. youtu.be/8bW5JYhASiA

Empty, definitely not. There's no shortage of people in India who will attend. I went to ETHIndia in 2023, and it was packed. Most attendees were students, but there were still around 4-5k hackers. That being said, I think what you probably mean, and you're right, is that most people from other parts of the world will skip it. Whoever I've asked, whether individuals or companies, has told me they won't be going. So yeah, definitely not the best move. I'll be going, though. I've already been to India twice. I love the food, and I know enough cool people there whom I'd be happy to see again. So why not? I'll probably use this chance to finally visit Delhi and then Rajasthan. There's so much interesting stuff to see there and a lot of history: fortresses, palaces, temples... Jaipur and Udaipur both look amazing.

I think doing a Devcon in Mumbai during a bear market with an EF running short of momentum will eventually lead to an empty conference and a lot of commentary. Won't attend. No point.

saw mixed thoughts about NS recently i spent 30 days in the island near Singapore (yes it’s just ~40 mins from the country) last year my honest take: 1. always surrounded with tech people, cypherpunk community, passionate & motivated folks 2. great place to lock-in, contemplate life’s next steps, team offsite, hacker house 3. swimming pool, pickle + football court, beach in walking distance 4. super delicious breakfast, super nutritious lunch & dinner (taste could be better) 5. dedicated co-working space, everyday tech meetups, investor access i’ll definitely like to go back there soon. kindly avoid FUD & decide for yourself :)

It's my pleasure to share that I joined @SuperteamBLKN. No, this doesn't mean I'm transitioning from building the Ethereum community. I joined as a member. ETH Belgrade and Superteam Balkan have had a great relationship since the beginning. We were never competition, but frens. We helped each other, and we will continue to do so. Superteam BLKN is doing an amazing job. Not just in Serbia, but across the entire Balkan region. In the last 2 years, they've organized hundreds of events, given $500k in grants to Balkan founders, and supported many other events and communities. Those are the things that we at ETH Belgrade are trying to do. We share the same mission and the same ethos, and I'm happy that we'll continue this path as frens, comrades, and now team members :D
