@BrianRoemmele Universal income is a trick to prevent ppl from rioting until its too late, a carrot on a stick. Imagine believing some guy who is still working after 100 million (not retiring) is going to give % of $ back to the same people that protest and hate him. Delusion on another level

What comes after Universal High Income?
In the series-You 5000 Days: Navigating the End of Work as We Know It, we explore this path, from the Interregnum to the new era.
This era dissolves all prior political and economic systems.

@blackjack_god @HustleBitch_ Blocked for AI slop. 2nd DUI doesn’t infer just alcohol, he’s on scripts. No, that’s the 2 for 2 data sample that the narrative AI slop bots keep ignoring.
English

@HustleBitch_ Zero on the breathalyzer both times, 9 years apart, and charged anyway. When the numbers contradict the story twice, bet on the numbers every single time — that's a 2 for 2 data sample the narrative crowd keeps ignoring.

@glacierptrading @elonmusk @pmarca Cause the population will be low and the newly born will be the workers. Most won’t survive this next few decades. It only takes 1 generation to rewrite history. Notice how he never mentioned that “you” working will be optional, because he’s not taking about you. Only the chosen.
English

AI employment doomerism is rooted in the socialist fallacy of lump of labor. It is wrong now for the same reason it’s always been wrong. More people really should try to learn about this. The AI will teach you about it if you ask!

It’s easy to dunk on Geoffrey Hinton for his 2016 declaration that it was “completely obvious” that radiologists would have no jobs within 5 years, while in fact, the number of radiologists has grown. But this prediction was more than a simple mistake. It’s a synedoche for the entire discourse of AI timelines and doom.

Today in @TheArgumentMag, Milan Singh and I do a deep dive into the data on who is ordering food delivery.

@johnkonrad @gCaptain Been following you for a long time, mariner and with respect, this is some Olympic type cope. It gets easier if you rip the bandaid off sooner than later. Good bye to the Jones Act and to the US mariner unfortunate… ego… everyone makes mistakes John, it’s ok if you got fooled.
English

Here’s my long form @gCaptain editorial on the subject:

English

Let's unpack this..
What if the White House has no intention of reopening the Strait of Hormuz?
What if this war is really about ships & tariffs?
I had a long discussion with senior DOE official yesterday on background. I can’t share any details but it’s clear everyone’s Strait of Hormuz calculus is wrong.
We need to go back to the drawing boards.
That's it. That's the tweet. Now a hypothetical 🧵 with my personal thoughts.

@JustBabom @WallStreetApes @Uc_heyy02 Cocoa prices have not soared relative to other commodities and assets. Look for yourself $CCK cocoa futures is actually the same price it was in the 2000s and 1990s, if you account for inflation it actually costs less.
English

@WallStreetApes @Uc_heyy02 Cocoa prices have soared, but still doesn't justify the insane price for an actual chocolate bar. At the store yesterday, wanting 85% dark chocolate, found a 3.5 oz Lindt bar 75% was almost $6 - that's $27.43 per lb. Crazy!! But that piece of brown rubber that gal has...🤮
English

American shows that Hersheys Chocolate Bars have changed textures
“Guys, I don't think chocolate's supposed to look like this. Why is it so like elasticy? — It's like slime — this is fake”
Hersheys has made major changes to their formula, including changing replacing cocoa butter with cheaper vegetable oils like palm oil, shea oil and sunflower oil

@DudespostingWs Can you imagine doing fifty or a hundred of those a day!

@Gentle_masc click bait, no one has ever 'deleted' Yuri's videos, in fact 'they' just amplify who ever posts it. Think for a second why. 🙄

i thought they already owned a social network for ai agents
Polymarket@Polymarket
BREAKING: META acquires Moltbook, a social network built for AI agents.
English

@SrnSmokeyStudio @thehealthb0t You are correct but u used AI to research & it used u as a platform to speak. Therefore, ur blocked 4ever. If a person uses AI to speak 4 them & spread AIsIop, they will continue to do so. When the time comes when you cant tell the diff between normal talk and AISIop, ull be glad

That Bayer clip’s been circulating since 2021 for a reason — but the spin around it is doing the heavy lifting.
Oelrich was talking about the broader mRNA platform and how COVID vaccines made the public more comfortable with advanced biotech injections. That includes future cell and gene therapies like CAR-T.
He wasn’t saying the COVID shots themselves are gene therapy.
mRNA vaccines don’t integrate into DNA and break down quickly after the immune system learns the target. That’s why regulators classify them as vaccines, not gene therapy.
What the clip really shows is a pharma executive bragging that the public accepted new technology faster than expected.
That may be fair to criticize.
But it isn’t proof the vaccines were secretly “gene therapy.”
Context matters more than viral clips.

@guideforman Literally listening to a fraud Frank Ab. The whole movie was a lie about a life he never had. Look it up and see how 🧠 vvashed you all are

@amuuhasuo @fallacyalarm @rohanpaul_ai Did you happen to look at the writings on the x-axis; you know, where it lists the actually charted time span (date) ? Take a look at that and come back to us.
English

@fallacyalarm @rohanpaul_ai Why does citadel’s chart look so different from this and every other chart I’ve seen on Indeed postings for SW engineers?
English

Citadel Securities published this graph showing a strange phenomenon.
Job postings for software engineers are actually seeing a massive spike.
Classic example of the Jevons paradox. When AI makes coding cheaper, companies actually may need a lot more software engineers, not fewer.
When software is cheaper to build, companies naturally want to build a lot more of it. Businesses are now putting software into industries and tools where it was simply too expensive before.

@Mayhem4Markets Is this person affected by lissencephaly that doesn't know how to zoom out or a fraud that is intentionally misrepresenting data to get more clicks. Given all the slop articles he quoted to represent this farce, we might actually have a person who really does have Lissencephaly

@jdarden415040 @WallStreetApes @jimmy_dore Whoa dont bring facts into the argument man, those "100 years" of soyslop being injected into the food supply increased life span to 20 more years! Man 100 straight years, that time machine was already invented according to this twitter egg
English

I guess thats why the average life expectancy has steadily gone down over the last 100 years from 59 to 79 years... oh damn thats an increase. Well surely th average life expectancy in europe where the food is so natural must blow our life expectancy out of the water right. Lets see, the US is 79 and in Europe its ....81.4. 1.4 years higher than here, not much a difference considering we are eating poison. The leading cause of dearh here is heart disease and cancer. You know what it is in europe? Heart disease and cancer. In fact the 1.4 year discrepancy can mostly be attributed to young people here dying more in car accidents than happen over there.
The 1.4 year difference being almost negligible, it would be closer if we didnt let 16 year olds drive and we all stop driving like maniacs.
So either these arw the weakest, shittiest poison in the history of poison, or this is being massively blown out of proportion for no damn reason
English

Our food is poison in America
There are 98 ingredients in America's number 1 frozen breakfast sandwich
“Jimmy Dean's, bizarrely includes both real butter and fake butter in the same sandwich. This chemical disc is what you call breakfast. One Jimmy Dean's hits you with an egg so fake they dye it yellow with annatto, then thicken the mush with modified starch to hold slop together.
The sausage is soy-packed pork stained with Class 4 caramel color and preserved with sodium nitrite, one of 12 fillers embalming this meat for up to a year.”
“Even the rest of the box scanned a 53% ultra-processed load with 2 possible carcinogens.“
