Optimum isn’t just another Web3 project. It’s building a missing layer in blockchain. a layer that focuses on how data actually moves across the network and that’s something many people overlook. Prof. Muriel also organized the Bitcoin Expo, which once again garnered a lot of positive feedback. 3. Be sure to read and share the latest article on “The Impact of Latency on ETH Staking.” x.com/i/status/20419… 4. A total of 115 people have found the 4th fragment. If you’ve found all the fragments, make sure they’re all stored in the same wallet. 5. The mainnet will launch soon, followed by Flexnodes shortly thereafter. There will be rewards for those who run nodes. (Just as we discussed last night with the mod) @CryptoSundayz 6️⃣ Roles for LatencyLords will be assigned next week. Various new events and games will also be coming soon. I really appreciate the strong commitment from this community. After three weeks without a community call, we’re back with a new update, good news, and progress we’ve made. Optimum is actually not just a protocol, it is an entire framework that is being built to increase the speed and performance of the blockchain. As we all know, sometimes keeping decentralization slows down the network @get_optimum is trying to fix that problem. The main focus here is on two things: One is to process data very quickly (increasing throughput), Another is to reduce latency (means reducing delay). In simple words using dApp feels smooth, not lagging. What I find interesting is that they are trying to optimize both cryptography and architecture. It means trying to make the whole system efficient, not just on one side. If it works properly, many scalable projects of the future can depend on it. One more thing I personally notice such projects grow not only with technology, but also with community. Optimum seems to be trying to catch that direction as well. Let me say one thing from the outside now as many projects are coming in Web3 space, everyone talks about scalability, but very few projects are actually strong in execution. So I'm in a bit of a wait-and-watch mode updates, dev activity, ecosystem growth, you have to see how much it can really deliver. I will track their progress going forward especially testnets, partnerships, and real use cases. I can make it a bit more Twitter thread style if you want

Dissecting the Ethereum "Networking Bottleneck" Solution via Optimum Ethereum has big ambitions: to speed up slot times from 12 seconds to 6 seconds. But there's a major problem standing in the way: the Networking Bottleneck. How can it be overcome? Let's examine the role of @get_optimum in solving this problem. 👇 The problem lies with the current Gossipsub protocol. Like a toll road completely congested during rush hour, Gossipsub is extremely bandwidth-intensive and slows down drastically under high network load. If block data arrives late, validators can lose their rewards (missing blocks). Enter mumP2P from Optimum. Instead of retransmitting the same data over and over again, mumP2P uses Random Linear Network Coding (RLNC). This technology transforms data into mathematically coded packets that are much more efficient. The result? Data duplication is drastically reduced. The data speaks for itsel everstake test results show insane performance: ✅ Propagation speeds 5-6x faster than standard. ✅ Average block send time is only ~150 milliseconds. ✅ No significant additional operational costs for validators. Infrastructure-level innovations like those implemented by Optimum are key to Ethereum's competitiveness and scalability.
