Last week at @ParisBlockWeek, @manakoai won Start in Block 2026, first place overall, plus the Bittensor track by @YumaGroup. 🥇 Two days pitching in front of the investors shaping European digital assets. Walking out with the top prize means a lot to us. We're grateful for the recognition and even more energised by what's ahead. A special congratulations to @arnod3f and @manakoarchie for representing us on stage, you did the team proud.
Paris Blockchain Week@ParisBlockWeek

The Start In Block 2026 startup competition concluded last week, and it exceeded all expectations. From over 1,000 applications across every corner of the digital asset ecosystem, 12 finalists made it to the stage at the Carrousel du Louvre. Two days of pitching in front of the leading investors, institutional leaders, and the most demanding jury in European digital assets. The energy in that room during the competition was unlike anything we have seen in previous editions. Every finalist brought something real. But three companies stood above the rest: 🥇 First Place: @Manakoai, also the winner of the Bittensor track by @YumaGroup 🥈 Second Place: @TheRiskProtocol, also the winner of the DeFAI track by Spectrum Nodes 🥉 Third Place: @SundialProtocol, also the winner of the Institutional Adoption track by @Cardano_CF A special recognition to the other finalists: @404gen_, Synth, @Bitcast_network, @Neuron_World, Deploi, @CoinbaxHQ, @MasumiNetwork, @zettacapital00, and @libertum_token, each of whom brought a standard that made this one of the strongest cohorts in Start In Block history. None of this happens without the people who gave their time and expertise to make the competition credible. Thank you to our jury, Mykolas Majauskas - @Bybit_Official, Tomasz Kajetan Stańczak (@tkstanczak) -@Nethermind, Jessi Brooks - @RibbitCapital, Greg Schvey (@GSchvey) -@YumaGroup, Siam Kidd (@SiamKidd) - @dsvfund, Brett Sun (@sohkai) - @preludexyz, Matthew Felice Pace (@mfelicepace) - @SpectrumNodes, Pablo Campos - @Bit2Me, David Bchiri - @xrpl_commons, Samiz Bayan (@samizb) - @DraperDragon, Brian Wong (@brian_wong) - ASCII Ventures, and Ethan Pierce (@EthanPierse) - @BorderlessVC. Thanks to our sponsors, @Cardano_CF, @SpectrumNodes, @YUMAGroup, @Bit2Me, and @AdevarLabs, for making the $10M+ prize pool possible. To every founder who applied, built, and took the stage this week, we see you, and we look forward to seeing you at Signal Week 2027.

been speaking to cv/ml engineers about @manakoai over the past couple of weeks a lot of them are deep in cv / ml / robotics in their day to day work 3 takeaways: - no one could name a tool that lets you build and deploy vision systems this simply - people immediately jump to real use cases, they already know what they'll use the app for - EVERYONE wants early access @manakoai & @webuildscore 🧑‍🍳

I think that a big reason why part of Gen Z hates AI so much is because our generation grew up thinking we could take the same road as the older generations: school -> university -> well-paying job and now a degree is in many cases a worthless piece of paper. Maybe excluding the most demanding fields, but beyond that no one really cares anymore. Every idiot can get a degree now and everyone is using AI to get through it, even if they won't admit it. Gen Z hates AI because it completely breaks the life plan they grew up believing in. Now you have to constantly learn new things, find smarter ways to get ahead, do things faster and better than others, and actually know how to use the AI tools, and keep adapting all the time, otherwise you'll be replaced with someone who can. And what really annoys people is that someone who simply knows how to properly use AI can often do a better job than someone who spent five years getting a master’s degree in something useless. Everything is more competitive now.

my gen (z) HATES ai. hates hates HATES ai. chatgpt/claude/image gen ai/video gen ai/music gen ai/ all fall under the same boat for them i would even assume that a majority of (smaller) business owners who have children, who are around my age ask for help with ai in their business, and get advised not too that's why i don't buy the opinion stating that i am NOT severely far ahead our peers i am and everyone on this ~side~ of the platform is, so disgustingly far ahead that we are not living on the same plane of reality. yet, the ai that is the evilest, the damnest of them all, runs every single one of their bed rotting lives and they don't even know it (the tiktok/insta algorithm) every morning they wake up and an ai algorithm feeds them videos and comments to oppose this technology, thinking their opinion is their own and i find it really funny

Road monitoring usually means hours of footage and manual review. It took us 3 minutes to solve it with @manakoai - using only prompts, without writing a single line of code. What you're seeing below is a road incident detection model we designed from scratch through @manakoai. From creating the computer vision model to setting up the pipeline and deployment, everything was done within the app. Here's how it works: The model analyzes the road in real time. When multiple cars remain stopped in the same spot for more than 3 seconds, it flags a potential incident, understands what’s happening, generates a short report, and sends a clip of the event. In this example, alerts go straight to Telegram, but they can just as easily be integrated with email, Slack, or other apps. And this is just one use case, @manakoai isn't limited to cars or traffic, you can build vision models across different kinds of verticals and customize the entire workflow to fit your needs. If you'd like early access or a demo, send me a DM. 🫡
