Stablecoins are where the real opportunities are in a bear market. While most of the market is distracted by price action in majors like BTC, the report from @PharosWatch shows that stablecoins have consistently been on the rise despite the decline of Bitcoin and other major assets. frxUSD @fraxfinance has been quietly doing something more interesting. Since its February 17 low, it has grown roughly 20% to hit a market cap of $134M. That growth is not driven by hype. It is driven by integrations that are actually being used. The @aave V4 numbers tell part of the story. frxUSD currently has $1.41M deposited on the protocol, a week plus after a launch that was already considered a strong credibility signal for the stablecoin. But the more telling data point is the frxUSD/evaUSDT pool on @CurveFinance with @eva_markets. One week in, it has already crossed $1M in TVL and is earning up to 30% APR. Incentivized pools can fake those numbers early. Organic pools cannot. That is what makes the difference for me. The most recent integration is @0xStableFlow, which lets you swap frxUSD and USDC/USDT in a single click across 25 plus chains. That removes the last major friction point for users who want frxUSD exposure without manually bridging across ecosystems. The question I get asked most when I talk about frxUSD as a serious alternative to the dominant stablecoins is always some version of "but can it handle a $1B transaction?" My answer is always the same. If you had the chance to get into Bitcoin in 2013, would you have waited until it could handle $1B transactions before paying attention?
