Yesterday students from my high school, Long Island City, protested the racist principals policies by staging a walk out. They reached out to Eric Adam’s & he condescendingly told em’ that walking out would do nothing & “children should stay in school” instead of supporting em’.

Also the Bronx co-location proposal will be cancelled. Let’s hope this signals a real turning point vs giving charter schools carte Blanche to undermine the quality of education of NYC public school students.
