@MapYourData @volklub @AnshulGains Anytime sir, and anyone who’s seriously into watches will tell you that a ₹50 Mickey Mouse watch brought from a mela tells time as well as those $50,000 pieces Mr. Ambani wears, it’s just a matter of interest and of course budget, real watch fans aren’t snobbish abt this.

The show writers turned Homelander into a Trump analogue, and this is how they choose to end The Boys. This entire show was just a deranged sexual humiliation fantasy projected onto Trump. They can't even produce a decent superhero parody without injecting their twisted fetishes into every script.

@NerdyGuyMark @barkmeta This is a take that only those with experience in either tech or marketing will have or understand, and we’re already seeing lots of this. Ai is a force multiplier not a force replacement engine, especially in specialised tasks like brand / comms strategy, etc. Thanks for sharing

20+ year tech professional here. Actually, I think this will INCREASE the need for marketing agencies and strategic specialists. Why? Because once automation becomes cheap and accessible, the market becomes flooded with competitors using the exact same AI tools you are showcasing here. That is what many people miss. You are not competing against people without AI. You are competing against other people who ALSO have access to the same AI tools. Which means: getting attention becomes harder differentiation becomes harder branding becomes harder and customer trust becomes harder People will be able to copy your: product offer landing page sales messaging content style and marketing funnel with the click of a button. That means the real value shifts toward people who know how to WIN in an environment where automation is available to everyone. In my opinion, this will increase demand for specialists who understand: positioning branding psychology storytelling distribution audience building and competitive strategy AI lowers the barrier to entry. But lowering the barrier to entry also increases competition dramatically.

@Griffith6669 @Apna_Bollywood Yeah the timeline and story is all over the place, though Rudra did exist before Shiva and was a minor god in early Vedic literature, over the later Vedic ages, multiple identities including Rudra aggregated to be known as the Lord Shiva we know today.

You are nuts. Meluha is full of flaws. Shiva came in 1900 BC , but before Shiva there was Lord Rudra (as per book) Shiva travels to "Mohan-Jo-Daro" named after Lord Mohan (who also came before Shiva). WTF!?? Not questioning the city's name as well (mohen jo daro was coined only 1900s which means mound of the dead) Vasudev and his clan also existed before Shiva.. Brihaspati teaches him photosynthesis lmaooo I mean chronology went for a toss. Shiva rudra mohan vasudev ... Mohan before Shiva Rudra before Shiva Rudra not equal to Shiva Bro, you are simply not ready for the bullshit.

Amish Tripathi’s The Immortals of Meluha has an absolutely epic storyline. If adapted properly, this film could be something truly extraordinary. Set around 1900 BC, the story follows Shiva, a tribal leader from Tibet living a harsh life with his people until he is invited to the kingdom of Meluha #TheImmortalsofMeluha

Two days ago @ku1deep pinged me "can you make something like this?" pointing to the tangaliya shirt Brad Pitt wore in the F1 movie. I spent my entire Sunday on calls with weavers, geeking on about this. What makes tangaliya, tangaliya, is the daana - tiny raised bead-like dots formed by hand-twisting contrasting yarn around groups of warp threads during weaving. This is not a print or embroidery thats added later, it done as part of weaving. And unlike a jacquard machine which has punch cards for patterns, this handloom machine doesnot and purely relies on weavers memory. Motifs like mor (peacock), khajuri (date palm), ambo (mango tree), and naughara (new house) are built dot by dot, reflecting the pastoral world the Dangasias lived in. The craft nearly died. By the early 2000s, the Bharwad community had largely stopped wearing traditional garments, and tangaliya had no commercial market outside the community. NIFT Gandhinagar intervened around 2007-08 with a revival project, and the shawl received GI protection in 2009. Today barely a hundred-odd weavers across ~26 villages in Surendranagar still practice the craft. Each piece can take 20+ days on the loom. Now here's the thing most people don't know - most tangaliya fabric on the market won't give you the same effect as what Brad is wearing in the film. His shirt uses natural indigo dye with both warp and weft dyed in indigo. That's what gives it that deep, living color that shifts in light. Most commercially available Tangaliya, uses a different color weft (black or white, you can spot the black thread at the edges in the first photo) and the warp isn't true indigo but a blue that resembles it. So we've commissioned a Dangasia weaver family in Surendranagar to do a limited run of 50 pieces. Indigo-dyed warp and weft. Pure cotton, 2/60 yarn count for a fabric with real body and weight. White and light yellow daana motifs, each one hand-twisted onto the warp threads individually on a pit loom. This is being done as a special project under @thelayerproject. The fabric alone takes about 60 days. We'll cut these into shirts with an Italian cutaway collar, no notches (see attached). Each shirt will be single-person tailored and carefully crafted, the way we do everything at Layer. DM me if you'd like to preorder.

So I went down the tangaliya rabbit hole and checked in with @is_rajvardhan about this. This is an extremely labor intensive fabric. One thing led to another and I have managed to convince him to do a bespoke run for this. Raj expects the shirt to cost 11-15k. It will be bespoke and guaranteed to fit. I am in. So I need 9 more of of you to sign up. Who wants in.

His name was Pradyumn Thakur. He was 7 years old. Class 2 at Ryan International School in Gurugram, Haryana. His father dropped him at the school gate at 7:55 am on September 8, 2017. At 8:08 am, he was found outside a washroom with his throat slit. He was rushed to hospital and declared dead on arrival. The school did not call the police. His parents did. Haryana Police arrived three and a half hours later. They noticed blood stains on bus conductor Ashok Kumar. The same clothes he wore while carrying a bleeding 7 year old child to a car. On September 10, the Police Commissioner held a press conference. He declared Ashok Kumar was the killer. He said Ashok had tried to sexually assault Pradyumn and murdered him. The Chief Minister of Haryana congratulated the police for solving the case. The Bar Association of Gurugram passed a resolution refusing to let any lawyer defend Ashok Kumar. The Supreme Court later disciplined them for this. Pradyumn’s mother said from day one she believed Ashok was being framed. CBI took over the case. They found no forensic evidence against Ashok Kumar. No evidence of sexual assault. The gardener who was first at the scene said he saw no blood on Ashok before Ashok helped carry the child. The claimed semen sample did not exist. [Source: CBI chargesheet 2018] In November 2017, CBI arrested the real accused. A 16 year old student at the same school. CBI said he confessed to killing Pradyumn to get his exams cancelled. He chose his victim randomly. Ashok Kumar was acquitted of all charges on February 28, 2018. [Source: Child Special Court Gurugram judgment February 28, 2018] In January 2021, CBI charged four Gurugram Police officers with framing Ashok Kumar. Falsifying documents. Torture. Criminal conspiracy. [Source: CBI chargesheet January 2021] Those four officers have not been convicted. The Police Commissioner who declared Ashok guilty on television faced no consequences. The Chief Minister who congratulated police faced no consequences. Pradyumn’s family is still waiting for justice for their son. Follow for stories India deserves to remember.

Open letter to Indians in America. -- Dear brothers and sisters from Bharat: Like I did 37 years ago, you arrived in America with no money but with a good education and cultural heritage from Bharat. You achieved outstanding success. America was good to us. For that we must remain grateful - gratitude is our Bharatiya way. Yet today, a significant number of Americans, may be not the majority but not too far from it either, believe that Indians "take away" American jobs and our success in America was unfairly earned. You may think the next election will fix this, but your choice would be between people who hate our Bharatiya civilisation and people who hate civilisation itself. That is the "hard right" vs "woke left" battle. You are mere bystanders to that conflict. Meanwhile there is one thing that is true now and will be true in the future: the respect Indians command world-wide will substantially depend on the fortunes of India herself. If India remains poor, the woke left will give us moral lectures with pity and the hard right, different moral lectures with scorn ("hellhole") and we must not confuse either with respect. Respect in today's world, along with prosperity and security, comes from one source: a nation's technological prowess. India produces sufficient brain power to achieve that prowess but alas we exported so much of that talent, particularly to America. As we develop that prowess in India, our civilisational strength will assert itself. As difficult as it is for many of you to contemplate this, please come back home. Bharat Mata needs your talent. Our vast youthful population needs the technology leadership you gained over the years to guide them towards prosperity. Let's do it with a missionary zeal. Respectfully Sridhar Vembu
