The jubilee video does a really good job of showing that arguments for the consumption of meat are really really really dumb.

This pup shudders uncontrollably when an unknown person approaches. The Ridglan beagles are recovering, but many still suffer from severe trauma. This is not normal behavior. This is a victim of abuse. And the authorities sent 8 of these pups back to their abusers.

Don't want to get into a bun fight here but why am I reading posts from younger people complaining about people getting a state pension? Errrr, this is how it has always been. When we're young, we work hard for years and then we reach an age where we receive a pension and it's the next generation's turn. What is it with a lot of younger people nowadays (god, I sound like my dad!), they want it all and would be happy if we just kicked the bucket when we retire. I receive my state pension in November this year and I'm bloomin' well not going to feel guilty about it. I would never have complained about this when I was younger and working full time. Never even considered it.

Can someone tell me what I’m actually paying for? My latest council tax bill has arrived. £330 a month. For what? We still have to pay extra just to have the garden waste collected. The roads are knackered, the drains are blocked, and every time it rains the streets flood. The local town is now devoid of shops because business rates and parking charges have made it almost impossible to trade and expensive for people to visit. So where is the money going? Councils spend tax revenue on vanity projects like cycle lanes that might see a bike once a decade and disability parking bays that sit empty most of the time. Meanwhile the services we actually rely on continue to decline. We are expected to pay more and more for less and less. And at the same time we all see public money being spent on people who entered this country illegally and have never contributed. So I’ll ask again. What exactly are we paying for? The whole system is broken.

A single friend of mine turned 40 and she decided to go get her eggs frozen in case she wanted to have children in the future and she got really upset when she was told “Hunny, you should have had this done years ago” by a person at the clinic. I think women were really manipulated to the level of delusional when it came to how simple it is to have children later in life. I see women complaining “Stop telling us when to have children!” Experts today aren’t telling women when to have children, they’re warning of the dangers of putting it off after decades of propaganda.

Notice the multiple dogs pacing back and forth. This is what ethologists call "stereotypic behavior" — psychotic behavior driven by the need to reduce stress. It happens to animals when they are confined in a cage for many hours, but the dogs at Ridglan are confined, and never step outside, for YEARS. I want to emphasize again that this is from Ridlgan's own PR video. They have unlimited access to their own facility and dogs, and this is the best clip they could find. What does that say about what it looks like when the cameras are NOT rolling? We need to get these dogs out. They are all going to be killed off or sent to experiments by July. And if you are an animal lover, we need your help.
