A sad day for Germany 🇩🇪.
5.000 US 🇺🇸 troops will leave my country.
They defended us for 7 decades and they never misused their power (unlike the Soviets). They acted disciplined and friendly. They taught us a lot. The U.S. is like a big brother for Germany.
But the U.S. administration is right: Germany can stand on its own feed nowadays. The U.S. needs its resources to deter China 🇨🇳. And one day, when we Europeans are strong enough we will do so as well.
Thank you American soldiers for your service for liberty and peace in Europe.

That made me proud to be an American and serving my country.

@FalkTG As an American, I acknowledge your appreciation. We, as Americans, often forget what a force for good we are/can be. While I support the current administration’s America First agenda, I do think that we should continue to extend goodwill to Europeans like yourself.

@RetroCoast @FalkTG Hard to be pals with a country that declared war with you. Hitler declared war on America, December 8, 1941. Enemy of my Enemy is my Friend. So yeah, we not only saved the Soviets, we also defeated Japan, a country actively fighting Communism.

@LudwigLaubach Suicide is not the unforgivable sin. They knew what the Communists wanted to do with them. Look what they did to Mussolini. Just imagine what those monsters would do to the children of Goebbels. The way they would've publicly humiliated Hitler and demoralized the German people.
