.@POTUS has been clear: America will dominate the seas. The @USNavy and @USMC deliver the combat power that deters our enemies, protects our way of life, and secures the homeland. Adm. Caudle, Gen. Smith, and I recognize that the heart of our naval force is not found in the Pentagon, it starts at home - it is in the family and friends who support them. Our Nation's safety, prosperity, and the values we hold dear are upheld by the strength of our military families. Thank you for standing behind our warfighters.

Palantir CTO @ssankar on Deepseek: “China is the best at long term planning— the one thing not in their plan, was AI. It is an American phenomenon.” “It’s not a coincidence they had to steal Deepseek. Distilled from OpenAI. They literally had to steal that.”

To get more hulls in the water, we’re cutting through the dead weight: stripping out bureaucracy that slows delivery, investing in the American workforce that builds and sustains the Fleet, and pushing innovation at the speed relevance demands. I’m approaching this the way you’d execute a corporate turnaround: relentless focus on measurable output, real accountability at every level, and a clear return on investment for the American taxpayer because every dollar we spend should translate into capability delivered, on time.

The reason this all matters? The U.S. allegedly struck a facility in or near the port city of Maracaibo linked to the assembly of Iranian drones. Hizbullah was responsible for setting up domestic assembly for Iranian-designed drones such as the ANSU-100 at Maracaibo. Hizbullah operatives provided the expertise needed to weaponize these drones. Hizbullah also ran a Margarita Island facility which served as Hizbullah's most critical operational base in the Western Hemisphere. The facility was a hub for document forgery, allowing operatives to obtain Venezuelan identification and travel throughout Latin America undetected. There was a paramilitary training center on the island, managed by the Nassereddine clan (a family with deep ties to Hizbullah and senior Venezuelan officials). In addition, the facility was also a consequential money laundering operation. weapons.substack.com/p/is-cuba-next…

I have directed a new Frigate class as part of @POTUS Golden Fleet. Built on a proven American design, in American shipyards, with an American supply chain, this effort is focused on one outcome: delivering combat power to the Fleet fast.

Most people walk into a stadium assuming someone has already figured out how to protect the crowd from the worst possible threat: An incoming weaponized drone. I was on the ground on 9/11, and I still have nightmares about how the next 9/11 will arrive - not by airplane, but by a swarm of drones. Many dedicated people are now working to address this existential threat. But a major impediment has always been jurisdiction. Even when a threat is identified, local law enforcement often lacks the authority to act. That authority has historically sat with federal agencies, and by the time decisions are made it can already be too late. Having run the business operations of two NFL teams and having overseen countless stadium events around the world, I’ve been sounding the alarm on this issue for years. But there was no meaningful action until the Trump administration made it an absolute priority, as it should be. Thank you @POTUS @realDonaldTrump for passing this vital measure ensuring law enforcement can act quickly and decisively against this threat at some of our most vulnerable sites. Grateful for bipartisan leadership in strengthening our front lines of domestic defense. @SenGaryPeters @ChuckGrassley @SenCortezMasto @SenRonJohnson 🇺🇸

From @TheAthletic: President Trump signed a law that arms state and local police with the ability to take down drones at sporting events — a significant leap in stadium security after years of pressure from pro leagues. nyti.ms/4amdcdv

Alex Karp gives us his training routine. He trains like a cross-country skier: "To be a skier, you need substantial VO2 max and strength per unit of weight. I do three days a week of threshold running, two days of strength, one of endurance strength." "I just started doing dead hangs four months ago. I hit 4 minutes and 36 seconds." From Alex's appearance on the show in September.

Long AI and Long Humans. The more time you spend deploying AI in the real world, up close and personal on the factory floor or the nursing station or an oil rig, the more obvious it becomes that human purpose and ingenuity is the animating factor at the efficient frontier of what AI can do. The most powerful use cases are not coming from hunting for automation buyouts that reduce businesses to lifeless husks of cashflow in a race to the bottom. They come from addressing bottlenecks that unlock human and capital productivity to do things they could not do before and accelerate their businesses to new heights. There is nothing quite as magical as breathing life into technology for a motivated user and showing them it can actually serve them. When you do this a funny thing happens: the faster you build the more extreme their demands get and the more you realize just how much you underestimated their industriousness and what they can accomplish with technology that works. Technologists will inevitably overestimate their product and underestimate their users. Living in their world will humble you quickly. I get to see this sparking of human ingenuity everyday and it is inspiring. Most of the users I interact with have never seen software evolve in ways that actually help them; enterprise software has jaded them. They see software as static. Something that is as often worked around as often it is worked through. The video below brings to life a few examples of how fun it is to change that. AI and software and humans. Each can do valuable things in isolation; the blending is where you win. If you want to build this version of the AI powered future, Palantir is for you.
