CNN’s Kasie Hunt pulled up an NBC poll claiming 23% of Americans say the United States is not one of the greatest countries in the world. Scott Jennings saw through the narrative instantly and flipped it on her. JENNINGS: “And if you looked at the splits on that by politics, what would you find?” HUNT: “I don’t have that slide...” JENNINGS: “But if you looked at the splits on how people feel about America, the promise of America, if you look at whether they’re proud of their country or not, Gallup has measured this.” “Republicans and conservatives are proud to be Americans, and it’s Democrats and liberals who are not.” “And I think if you looked at the splits in that, you’d find...the lines on the graph going this way.” “I think there’s a political movement in this country right now built on telling people that America is rotten at its core.” “And it’s not the Republican ideology.”

If you think she regrets this idiocy now that thousands lost their jobs, you don't understand democrats. The results never matter. It's the public show of 'caring about the little guy'- that's the motivation. The whole point. Reality is irrelevant.

I've warned for months that a @JetBlue-@SpiritAirlines merger would have led to fewer flights and higher fares. @JusticeATR and @USDOT were right to stand up for consumers and fight against runaway airline consolidation. This is a Biden win for flyers! apnews.com/article/jetblu…

It might seem like a minor detail, but it is hugely significant in terms of his mindset that Todd Blanche pushes back on the false framing from this fake news operative. No one else would have called her out on her mind reading assumption that Trump’s tweet was sent accidentally.

Spencer Pratt says they tried to tell him he was ineligible to run for mayor “because his house burned down” “I wasn't eligible to run for mayor because my house burned down — I'm not kidding. This is real” The LA Times reported he wasn’t eligible to run because his house burned down in the Palisades Fire, forcing him to temporarily live outside the city This was a lie, it was the LA Times doing what they always do. Spreading fake news to help Democrats in Los Angeles He says he had to call the City Clerk to verify the claims, they of course were wrong. Anyone who had their house burned down was still eligible

Walter Duranty won the Pulitzer Prize in 1932 for systematically lying about the Ukrainian famine while 7 million people starved to death under Stalin's forced collectivization. The New York Times correspondent knew exactly what he was doing when he filed reports describing "shortages" and "food difficulties" instead of the mass starvation unfolding before his eyes. Duranty's articles praised Soviet agricultural policy even as entire villages disappeared. He wrote glowing accounts of collective farms while peasants ate bark and grass. When other journalists reported the truth about the Holodomor, Duranty dismissed their accounts as "malignant propaganda" and assured American readers that Stalin's five-year plan was working brilliantly. The Times promoted his coverage on the front page throughout 1932. Duranty lived in Moscow, traveled through Ukraine, and witnessed the consequences of central planning firsthand. He chose to cover for Stalin because he believed the Soviet experiment represented humanity's future. Like many Western intellectuals of his era, he convinced himself that millions of deaths were acceptable collateral damage for building socialism. The Pulitzer committee rewarded him for this moral bankruptcy. The Holodomor perfectly illustrates what happens when states control food production and distribution. Stalin confiscated grain to feed cities and export abroad while rural Ukraine descended into cannibalism. Free market economists had predicted exactly this outcome when central planners replaced price signals with bureaucratic decree. The Times has never recinded Duranty's Pulitzer Prize.

@neoavatara Well someone who has been here 20 years, on an H1-B visa, who got that visa because he had special skills, sure was stupid about taking care of applying for a green card. Tells me he’d rather take what we have and has no interest in becoming a citizen. He can go back home now.

We need to stop EBT cards and electronic transfers of funds for public assistance programs. Go back to physical manifestations of being on public assistance -- standing in lines, dealing with govt bureaucrats in state and local offices, using a form of payment that requires separate handling from the general public. Make it more INCONVENIENT -- not easier. Then you'll have less of it.

Since facts are friendly, here’s a few: Jimmy Kimmel was only getting 129,000 views. And hemorrhaging his network’s money. I got 22,000,000 views for a single post on X last week. I don’t ask for a dime from my viewers. I just want to share the truth. There’s the difference.

If I were a gambler, I would bet every penny to my name that none of this happened. David and his other half are insufferable narcissists who lost their minds when Trump won, then became Democrats, then realized that they needed to be victims to be fully adopted by the Left. The two of them are white and wealthy and not actual victims of anything, hence the sudden onset of the chronic race card strain of Munchausen by proxy at the very moment they abandoned their core beliefs to become leftists. They also claim they had to leave their church in Franklin because people were allegedly racist to them during communion. A fact they never share, probably because it is both hilarious and evidence the alleged incident never happened, is that this allegedly happened at a notoriously left-wing church (the most left-wing in the presbytery—even more than the one which was previously led by a pastor who claimed Christians were obligated to do security at gay pride parades) helmed by a Trump-deranged lib. They then joined a liberal black church in Nashville. Because of course they did. But that wasn’t enough, so they left the state entirely to move to Chicago, or as Jussie Smollett calls it, MAGA country. The much more banal reality is their truly insufferable narcissism, made even worse by the constant need to be victims, drove away everyone around them in every aspect of life, leaving them nothing to do but leave. It was a win-win for everyone. They can now prance around not-at-all-crime-ridden Chicago while pretending to be Vanilla Nelson and Winnie, and everyone in Tennessee can breathe a sigh of relief that they’re finally gone.

BREAKING: DHS tells me in a statement the man anti-ICE rioters got violent over is Chidozie Wilson Okeke, "a criminal illegal alien from Nigeria with previous arrests for assault and criminal drug possession. "Okeke entered the United States on August 27, 2023, on a tourist visa that required him to depart the U.S. on February 26, 2024. In violation of our nation’s laws, Okeke refused to leave the United States and overstayed his visa. "During his arrest, Okeke refused to comply with officers’ lawful commands to exit the vehicle and weaponized his vehicle to attempt to hit ICE officers. Okeke became physically combative attempting to punch and elbow ICE officers. Our officers followed their training and used the minimum amount of force necessary to make the arrest. "After his arrest, Okeke requested medical assistance, so ICE officers escorted him to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center for a medical evaluation. Okeke remained non-compliant during the medical evaluation throwing himself to the floor and screaming. The medical staff cleared him."

CHAOS OVERNIGHT as ICE Agents rush a detainee out from hospital during protester stand off in Brooklyn NYC ICE dragged a man in custody out of the Wyckoff Hospital building after earlier detainement off site, as protesters massed outside. Agents rushed ran into the ambulance bay with pepper spray canisters pointed at anyone in their way. Later running out with a suspect dragging him into a car waiting outside. NYPD arrested several activists while trash and objects were thrown onto Stanhope St to block their exit. One ICE vehicle appears to have a flat tire and blown-out rear window as they stopped on the Manhattan side of the Williamsburg Bridge, where officers provided traffic control. Allow me to rock your world. America has about 6000 hospitals. 5121 of those are publicly accessible and 1224 are completely free. That's twice as many charity hospitals as Canada has Tim Horton's. Literally. Then, when you see a doctor, the doctor speaks English and went to school somewhere you've heard of. Harvard is not the only way to get educated, but it is nice in the fall. We don't push people into medically assisted suicide for cost reasons. We don't ask people with emergency conditions to sit in the ER for 10 hours before they see a doctor. So yes, if you have a cutting-edge disease and you go to a private hospital and get the best care in the world, you're on the hook for it. But note that you are also ALIVE.
Mark Slapinski@mark_slapinski

People say Canadian healthcare is not free, because we pay taxes for it. But in America, people pay taxes and still have to pay for healthcare out of their pockets. And if they are broke, the hospital tells them to go die.
