I love pitties and have shared my bed with one. But I wouldn’t take em around crowds or other dogs just in case. I’ll say dog bit reports are scewed, though. Large dog breed bites are going to be reported more than small breed bites. But also account for the seriousness of the bites and large breed doing more damage. It’s tough and I love all dogs but unless I had the pitti from a pup I’d not take it around others for years until I knew their history and what could set them off. But same with a German shepherd. I’d have to know everything about him nose to tail including history before relaxing in public with him.

We have a 2 party system, we have for over a hundred years. Only now is that just beginning to change. The public have consistently and determinedly voted for a clear (conservative) set of policies, over and over and over again for decades now. We just had 14 years of the Tories, because people wanted conservatism, specifically radical reductions in immigration, smaller state, lower taxes, law and order. The Tories betrayed the voters 3 election cycles in a row by delivering the opposite, and people were so angry that they refused to vote for them. But that, in our system (as constituted at that time) means we then got the other party — Labour — winning by default on a very low vote share. There was no enthusiasm for a Labour government, they won because millions of voters were so angry at the Tories for not being conservatives that they simply refused to vote for them (note, these people did NOT vote Labour, hence Labour's historically low vote share). The next election will be the first time in a very, very long time where the 2 party system may genuinely get smashed, because there are now challenger parties appearing that are of credible size to be able to step into the game. That was not an option at the last election, and what you then seem to be implying is that people should have voted Tory again just to keep these useless Labour cretins out. But we did that. Many times. We voted Tory because Labour would be worse. And then the Tory party got so comfortable and arrogant that they became globalist leftists themselves, knowing they could get away with that because voters would vote for them anyway because Labour would be worse. People got fed up with it and wanted to punish the Tories, and fair enough.

Labour won the 2024 election with less vote than Corbyn's "catastrophic wipeout" election. They won by default, because people were so angry at the Tories for wasting 14 years and not actually delivering any conservatism that millions of Tory voters simply refused to vote for them. This government are bloody awful. But the Tories did need to be punished. The very reason they were so crap is because people keep voting for them even when they're wet, because we don't want Labour. It got to a point that people felt the Tories needed to be sent a message that wet globalism is not acceptable. It is what it is.
